“One of my favorite resorts in Southern California for a quick getaway. Ojai is a beautiful small city located in Ventura county. I absolutely love coming here year after year either for a daytrip or an overnight stay. I always chose Ojai Valley Inn cause it's the best . The perfect location with great amenities. The resort is very relaxing, with a wonderful spa, restaurants, coffee shop and bars. The pool areas are nice and fun to be at. The summer months are great here but have slightly higher rates per night. The spring and the fall season is beautiful with great landscaping and lots of activities for families. The food at the restaurants is fresh and delicious . Customer service is great. Overall a wonderful place to stay at any time of the year.”

“I absolutely loved staying here with my dog! The property is so cute and there are lots of places that are walkable, including a brewery next door. Leilani was very helpful and got back to me very quickly.”

“Loved this place. Julia at front office wasn't very nice when I told her we forgot a souvenir item though, she could kind of care less lol but hey that's 2023 customer service for ya! I mean I understand we shouldn't have forgotten something but she wouldn't even "guarantee" she could hold it for me for TWO days lol. Anyways not a big deal life goes on. A very charming property to stay in.”

“A charming property with everything you could want. Our room was more like a detached casita, with a private patio. It was large enough to accommodate a king bed, leather chairs by the gas fireplace, bath and kitchenette nook. Amenities included coffeemaker, toaster, mini-fridge, cups, plates, etc. and drinks and snacks for purchase. We got the breakfast basket, which had enough food for three days of light breakfasts. We also appreciated the welcome room, open 24 hours with snacks, games, extra coffee supplies and dvds. The grounds, pool and hot tub are beautiful and immaculately maintained and the property is a short drive/walk to downtown Ojai. We’d definitely stay there again.”

“Nice addition to the Ojai scene from the Ojai Rancho Inn group. We've been coming up here for 15 years now but this was our first time in 5 years. First time at the Capri, last time we were here it was being renovated. Charming a la the Rancho Inn, though that's a motor court and this is a motel with a pool and hot tub. We didn't get to the try the pool because it was pouring. Anywho, it was great, would return. Not a great value exactly but that's Ojai, you are paying for being in Ojai. Space. Is. Limited.Rooms: Nice.Nearby activities: Walk to town.Safety: VeryWalkability: Yes.Food & drinks: Snacks in the room. Market two blocks away, restaurant in town.Noteworthy details: The renovated lobby is swell.”

“Just spent an idyllic 2 nights at Su Nido with my Book Group. It was an ideal location and we were able to walk everywhere in Ojai. The living room in our suite allowed for wonderful get togethers. We had 5 rooms in all - 4 adjoining and each was beautifully decorated and the amenities were perfect. The courtyard is beautiful and was decorated for the holidays. We even had a Christmas wreath on our door. Staff is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!Walkability: You can walk everywhere from here!Noteworthy details: Cozy and good amenities. Spacious rooms.”

“I was almost scared off from this place by the bad reviews, but I'm very glad I stayed here. I chose this place because it was the most affordable option in Ojai that allows dogs. Only certain rooms are dog friendly, but you can get one without paying the exorbitant rates that other places charge.I agree that the rooms are a bit sterile, but they're clean and comfortable, which matters more to me. And so nice and cool on the hot days! As many others have mentioned, they have renovations going on so it's loud during the day, but perfectly quiet at night. And free parking! The location is on the main street, but about a half mile east from the central shops. It was close enough that I could easily walk into "town" for meals and shopping.Overall, everything I need in a hotel.”

“Full Disclosure, I'm getting a discount for our next stay with a 5 star review, but I would have given our stay 5 stars regardless.Wanted to book a last minute getaway in Ojai and settled on Chantico Inn because it was the most reasonable in price and the location was excellent. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is dated but has a very unique charm that we thought was nice. Our favorite part was that it was walking distance to almost everything we did during our trip, which was very convenient. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in Ojai.”

“I had to cancel a few days before my stay and they were extremely nice about it and gave me a full refund even though they didn't technically have to (bc I booked thru Booking.com and that refund period was already over). I really appreciated how nice they were and I hope I get to stay there some time! The property looks beautiful and they clearly know hospitality.”
