“Stopped by here to get gas, stretch my legs, ate a lunch I packed and even bought some ice cream before heading to Death Valley. The guy working there said they lost about 80% of business when the four lane highway was finished. Hope they can stay in business.”
“We were on our way to Mammoth Lakes and needed a quick charging stop for our Tesla. The Coso Junction Chevron has Superchargers right there, which made it super convenient. While the car was charging, we used the bathrooms and grabbed a few snacks inside.
I picked up a Core Power drink and decided to try the local elk teriyaki jerky and venison peppered jerky. Something you rarely see at gas stations. It is usually just the standard beef jerky. I was curious how they would taste, and they were both surprisingly delicious! Good quality and flavorful.
If you are making the long drive to Mammoth or anywhere along that route, I highly recommend stopping here. Easy Tesla charging, quick bathroom break, and unique local snacks make it a solid pit stop. 👍”
