I was assigned a dirty car & I have to tell him that the car is dirty and needed to clean up and promised me to give a discount but he won’t fulfill his promised and also I was overcharged for the gas and I wasn’t informed that I won’t get a refund for the unconsumed gas coz the other rent a car I used before only charged me the consumed gas. Overall rate is poor and the agent is rude so don’t go on this budget rent a car coz you will end up over budget.

I've been battling this company for a year on a misleading contract in Calgary written by their employee Sawraj, we had paid in full via Priceline, who I will never use again or recommend to a friend because they wouldn't help us out in this rip off!, We paid in full to Priceline, car rental including insurance. When we picked the car up, we were told by Sawraj that he needed the card of the driver, me, I explained we were paid in full so he didn't need my card! He insisted that he needed my card because I was the driver, after he imprinted my card, he asked if we wanted to add a driver? Why not make my wife the driver and add me as a second driver? The "Why" is because now they can screw us by using my card for insurances we had prepaid thru Priceline. As we went thru the contract I kept saying we didn't need andy additional insurances and he kept saying okay, initial here etc., so on and so forth... I thought we were good to go and initialed where he directed thinking we were declining additional coverages, when in deed he led me down the path... we ended up being billed for $334.77 Dollars for insurances we thought were declined, we had already paid Priceline $104.00 for insurance, so now we have paid a total of $438.77 for insurance! Not to mention our coverage with our personal car insurance is so good we didn't need their coverage but felt because of being in a foreign country it was best... bad decision on our part! So $612.84 car rental + $104.00 Priceline insurance + $334.77 Budget rip off insurance, it cost us $1051.61 for basically 7 days?, Lubricant was not offered! $150.23 per day! We picked up the car on 7/27/2022 @ 3:10PM and returned on 8/4/2022 @ 8:14AM so it looks like 9 days but it's not, there is a lot of dead time there. Bottom line, I think they, Sawraj took my card in order to pull off this crime! I feel strongly this is done all the time by this Budget agency . I've seen other reviews about this very agency and this particular agent, I'm guessing his commission checks are huge! BOTTOM LINE, STAY AWAY FROM BUDEGET Car Rental!!! "Budget" , the meaning as a adjective in the dictionary is "INEXPENSIVE" hahahahah!

The worst company I have ever dealt with, first time = last time. They are charging me for 29 additional days of rental (almost $5000), even though the car was sitting in a wrecking yard the entire time (yes, they were notified immediately after the accident and 4 more times after that because their communication is non-existent). I expected to be charged for the damage to the car (my insurance), but an additional month of rental on top of it? They will not respond to my insurance company. and the air bag didn't even work. Budget is a scam company. Read the rest of the reviews. It may take a while, but they will go down just like the rest of the scam artists.

This place was great, I needed a car for my wife while her car was being repaired, I called at 10 minutes before closing and told the guy we really needed a car for my wife to go to work. He said he would wait for us which ended up being 30 minutes due to rush hour traffic. I can't express how much we appreciate what he did.

Clean but they didn't tell us that automatically they do a $250 hold for rental.

Budget Rent A Car gave me a fabulous Toyota Rav 4 to drive one-way from Ontario to Oakland. It was a fantastic price - I think it was $83 with no limits on the number of miles, for one day, one-way. I was a happy camper. There was a freak accident at the check-in counter and my driver's license fell between some cracks in the counter. It was impossible to retrieve my license. The clerk was very friendly and very sorry for the accident, and I was able to rent the car anyway. The problem was the follow-up. I was told the counter would be taken apart and my license would arrive via Fed Ex within 24 hours. I have spent over four hours on hold, trying to get answers and it has been 8 days since my license was lost. I had to pay for a duplicate license and I drove the 413 miles praying the whole time that I would not be stopped by the police. I have no idea where my license is now - nobody from Budget will speak to me. I have been hung up on and disconnected (No, I didn't raise my voice). I just want to know: where is my license? Now I have to file a police report in case of identity theft. They would have gotten five stars had this not happened. I was treated with courtesy at every level until they refused to talk to me about the driver's license they lost.

Kind of pricey and the location is not clean. This location is where all the wrecked cars are stored. But the customer service is ok.
