The obese blond lady with rotten teeth, I think her name was Amanda, was by far the most rude and unhelpful individual for absolutely no reason. She stormed off in the middle of "helping" us when I reached into my pocket for my wallet and said she's going on break, only to storm back and throw herself into her chair a disheveled heap less than 5 minutes later and sit and stare at us while Ari, who was also quite rude, and incapable of doing what Amanda was too incompetent to complete continued the atrocious level of customer service. Not answering the questions we asked and acting as though she did not hear our answers. The level of customer service received mirrored what would be expected from someone who had been spat on. These two should not have jobs that are customer-facing if common decency is something they cannot muster. Two adults acting like petulant children with IQs well below their shoe sizes.

They only get a star because I had no choice! So dishonest!! they charged me for gas when I dropped the car off using the drop box at 0245am with a full tank of gas! I won't ever use this company again! I don't know which of their employees filled up their own gas tank on my dime, but it is not ok to cheat customers and lie.!! I will spread the word.And I want my money back!!

I rented a car online with Dollar and choose a compact car. When arrived at the counter they try everything to up sale a better car and informed me that the only car available for the deal was electric. The confirmation didn’t mention electric car. It’s really hard to find charging stations in many places and you have to drive really far just to be able to charge the car. The car can’t drive not even 180miles range with full charge an then charge for an hour. Be careful with dollar rental deals. They offer deals online to upgrade at the counter. Otherwise you end up with a car that nobody wants to get.

I rented an electric car that would not charge properly and returned it 5 days early. They had no more cars available, so I had to rent a car from another company. Dollar did not refund any money for the 5 days I brought the piece of crap back early. And the morons at the counter did not mention they don't give refunds, even if the car isn't working properly. Instead of a refund, they charged an additional $125 onto my card for "miscellaneous" expenses.

Renters of Electric Vehicles (EV) *beware*. I rented an EV for the first time, and while the wait time was quick and rental desk representative was pleasant, their staff is poorly trained in explaining how to operate and properly charge an EV so you don't incur additional fees upon returning it. I was charged $35, plus an additional $25 because I wasn't able to fully charge it up prior to returning it. Note: the cars *do* actually come with charging cords (despite what the rental desk may tell you). They're in a concealed spot, located under the trunk mat next to the spare tire. I didn't learn this until I dropped it off and the representative checking the car told me.If you're able, plug in at a residence overnight as trying to charge it at a vehicle charging station will take upwards of 9+ hours, which is ridiculous. There were no fast charger locations available over the weekend I rented it.When I appealed the extra charges to the both the airport and corporate offices for Dollar, they were unwilling to remove the charges. I've rented from them previously with no problems, but will not plan to rent from them again.

These employees are champions.After a long flight from Hawaii and landing late, they made it so smooth for us. They even upgraded us when they learned we had more family "surprise us" on arrival. Mahalo Nui Loa

The worst experience ever. They tried to charge me for insurance and road service, even though I told them I had my own insurance and AAA. Over $100 a day for an old Sentra with dents all over it. I finally just cancelled the rental and took Uber and saved a lot of money. Be careful these rental car companies are crooks that try to squeeze every dollar out of you if you aren't paying attention .

This is my first visit here and it will be my last. I made an online reservation for a rental to drive to Arizona. Upon arrival, I waited in line for over 30 minutes. A white woman eventually approached me and assumed that I was with the African American couple in front of me, which was a clear indication of prejudice. When I reached the front of the line, the attendant with a bad attitude checked my booking and informed me that there were no cars available, despite having already taken my payment. I strongly advise against renting from this company, Dollar Car Rental, as their service is poor. I regret not taking a photo, but I hope that by sharing this review, they will be aware of their actions.

We had a bad experience with the Dollar Car Rental at Ontario airport. (May, 2023). We were the only customers there but it took over an hour to get all the paperwork done. Part of the problem was that the computer system kept bumping up the price on our car. (i.e., above the price quoted in our reservations). Then they did not have the kind of car we had booked. Then when we went to get the car, we couldn't find the keys in the car. Then on our way to our destination, we received an email saying the reservation had been changed and stating that the price for our reservation was being increased. We couldn't get a clear answer when we called their 800 number. Fortunately, when we returned the car, the price was as stated in the original reservations. But in the meantime, there was all the delay and issues getting the car and all the aggravation of having to worry about the price of the car while we were on our trip. I've rented cars from Dollar for a long time but this will probably be the last time. The people at the counter were fine but the computer system they were dealing with seems programmed to try to charge customers more than the quoted price.

Located on Rental Car Rd. You need to turn left at the first stop or you'll miss the area you're supposed to go. There's just a few parking spots outside. The place is clean and plenty of seating inside.I did my research trying to find the lowest price to rent a car from Ontario to LAX because our flight leaves early in the morning.Dollar Car Rental was the best price, however no where online did it mention that they'll add an additional $200 on the car until we returned it. No problem because we are planning to return the car to the location at LAX.You save yourself the trouble of paying extra by filling it up so we'll just gas up in LA before we return the car.The car is fabulous! It looks like a brand new Toyota Camry. The car keys are left inside the car. Only a few scratches when I went to get the car, but I paid for the car coverage "good" package for $63. If I selected the "best" package I'd end up paying $173 for one day. Big difference in price.So the two stars are for the unimpressive customer service. No hello or good morning. She had a resting mad face on her. I asked if this was the Dollar counter and she replied it's the Dollar Thirty. I checked in and gave her my drivers license and credit card. She needs to work on her customer service manners to be friendly and have a smile on her face.

I'll give 2 stars out of respect for the workers(jobs can be hard) who stayed and the late help when my boyfriend's flight got a major delay.BUT! This is a very ridiculous experience! Boyfriend rented a car in hopes of good service and trust for a 3 day trip. He already paid almost everything before he came, just 50 bucks left. But not only they gave him a car that is filled with disgusting smell of smoke, they squeezed money out of him from with held information on a hidden, ridiculous high fee because of this and that they say. Please be cautious and make sure to ask everything before you rent. He has to leave for his flight so we can't dispute. Definitely not nice. Not going to recommend, unless you double sure you're getting your money's and trust worth..
