Meat Shops, Butchers
El Toro Meat Market offers delicious products and well seasoned, fresh meat. The carne asada, especially the marinaded "Ranchera," has a really good flavor for many, though some find it bland and add their own marinade. The meat is fresh and good quality, with the chicken asada thighs also noted as really good. They offer the freshest menudo in the area. The staff is super polite and courteous. There can be a wait as they prepare your order, but calling ahead for pickup is an option. Prices are good and worth it. The meat is often tenderized, spiced, and neatly wrapped with onions, peppers, radish, and citrus. Many whole families recommend coming back.
