This store has gone so far downhill in the last 3 years it's disturbing. There are 3 or 4 cashier's that are friendly and helpful, but at least 80% of their staff has very little knowledge of where anything is in the store, or are just plain rude. I waited 5-10 minutes today for one of the staff to finish their "good ole boy" conversation with their buddy, pretending they didn't notice me, before I was finally able to ask a simple question about availability of a standard plumbing part they had six months ago just to find out they don't carry it anymore, (except they have that part in all of the other Home Depot stores in treasure the valley). If this was an isolated event, no big deal. But something like this happens almost every time I'm here. As a contractor I spend thousands at Home Depot every year. I'd be nice if they could reduce the bullcrap factor just a little bit. It is exhausting.

I went to this Home Depot on Riverside Drive and Euclid. I was in the flower department looking for a specific plant and all the good was point. They didn’t take the time to come over and help me. They just pointed and pointed. I found what I needed on my own. I went to
The checkout inside the store and I asked where the fans were and they pointed all they said was down the hallway over there pointed, so I went to look to see what they had didn’t have what I wanted. The only two people are three people that did help is when they checked me out, the girl at the desk when I went by to leave I asked her if she had any boxes or anything. I could put my two plants in and she said no, but she had some plastic bags that she gave to me which was nice. Then when I was outside loading the plants in my car there was a man coming that worked in there and I asked him if he could take the basket for me and he did very nice. Talk to me for a few minutes so there was some good and some not so good experiences. It is a nice store and it is clean and well stocked.

Went into buy some tape for my dryer. I knew what I was looking for but didn't know where to look. I asked 4 people & whom was a " Lead" because the cashier went to ask for help. Everyone sent me to different places and it was nowhere to be found. 2 ppl to busy on their phone at self check out. I ended findingbit myself.This is why I shouldve gone to LOWES.

As I left the store, after at self checkout Employee Jessica requesting to see whats in personal bag employes ridculous after she rang me up wrong, I received a few dirty looks from other employees. I had to go back in and pay for the other 4 that inbox because Jessica mistake at the self checkout and who I believe is one of the customer service manager Mark made a remark that was so sarcastic accusation of stealing and following me to my personal vehicle and they are far from genuine, trying to insinuate that I may have been there for different reason and this guy red shirt and cap came up to Mark making accusations and rude remake, did this in front right in front of the rest of other staff and in parking lot other people as I walked out, took a picture of my license plate. This is discrminatory and unethical. Please stay away from this Home Depot

I must say today was the BEST home depot experience EVER thanks to probably the BEST EMPLOYEE WE HAVE EVER COME ACROSS AT HOME DEPOT " MR . WALTER" this gentleman was so so helpful he did not only help my husband find what he need it but he literally helped us load wood, drywall into the cart, but if that was not enough he helped us load everything up in our truck, with a smile, "MR. WALTER " literally needs to be recognized for the amazing work he does and the amazing costumer service he provides, to the home depot customers. So if you are at the home depot in Ontario and need help from a real employee ask for " MR. WALTER" am sure he will be very helpful and he actually knows how to help a customer.. Thank you Thank you "MR WALTER!!!!!

This location is by far one of the best Home Depot I go too. The one in EASTVALE is closer but the staff isn't friendly or attentive. The items are out of stock, when the app shows in stock. But here, at the ONTARIO location, you can definitely tell management cares about their store! Staff is friendly, always asks if you need help. One gal even spent time to explain to me the benefits of a Pro account. The store is well kept, neat and products brought to front of shelves. It's an A+ store.
