Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this Alberto's. I ordered from Uber Eats 2 carne asada fries and paid extra for guacamole only to find out they barely put any asada in both orders! Every time I go to Alberto's in El Monte, they hook it up with the asada. Definitely wouldn't recommend this stingy branch and will never eat here again.

I've been driving by this place for years, but never stopped. Decided to try them a couple times over the last couple of weeks and it's been excellent both times! Carne asada burrito is all good

I love the asada fries but I wish there was a small option I always waste half the plate because I can never finish that much food please consider a small option for the asada fries and nachos

Orderd 1 Mulita Carne Asada and it was . Great service, the salsa was fantastic too. Don't tell anyone, but I purchased a coldie next door and drank that sucker with the Mulita. I definitely recommend this place today.

f you're looking for a quick and satisfying post-rave meal, Alberto's Mexican Food is the place to be! After all, you can't really mess up a 2 am burrito, right? Well, luckily for us, Alberto's did not disappoint.The drive-thru was really quick, which shouldn't be surprising considering the time we went. The adobdada burrito was packed with flavor and the meat was juicy and tender. However, the only downside was that they could have given us more salsa and larger portions for the price.Overall, Alberto's Mexican Food is a great spot for late-night cravings. Just make sure to ask for extra salsa :D

Came here to grab a "snack"....used lightly since their tacos are HUGE!! It's been forever since I've been to an Albertos but today it sounded like it would hit the spot and the tacos sure did. I went through the drive thru to order and was helped immediately. The guy working drive thru was polite and on top of it! I pull around to the window to pay and hear my total which I had mistaken what he said and paid for my food. I received my receipt and saw what he said, in which he unfortunately didn't hear me correctly either and thought I said a plate and not just the tacos themselves. I let him know nicely and he had 0 issues refunding the difference for me and apologized to me for the mistake and let me know what he heard. It happens and was corrected professionally and nicely which I appreciated. For the tacos...so many reviews said the meat is dry and nasty. The asada was tender and cooked well for what I received. Each taco was enough to make 4 tacos out of the 2 I ordered. My only complaint (and this is with every Albertos location) is the runny guacamole instead of a thicker, regular textured guacamole but it was still good. Could have a bit more flavor but good. I enjoy their green sauce on top of the toppings already to add just a bit more flavor. I'd recommend coming here!

I ordered two Asada beef taco w cheese & Picco de Gallo. Dry Dry Dry??? And the corn tortillas dry. Just horrible no taste to the steak over cooked. Big waste of 9 bucks. Never will come back here. If you're going to bother making food why not make it correctly if you know it's over cooked then get rid of it and cook it how it's supposed to be.

We have always liked the food and service here my problem is the homeless guy that hangs out , today he was in the drive thru with his pants around his knees walking toward our car with everything hanging out ! Locked my car and rolled up the windows , they need to do something about this , we won't be back to this location. I tried posting a pic but I guess Yelp thinks it's too graphic so use your imagination

Ordered a Carne Asada Fries, probably the most expensive item on the menu and got mainly a bean fries, where is the Carne Asada? I am never going here again. Don't waste your money and time going here!

Its midnight and my bf's car ran out of gas, we had PRIOR purchased a gas can from ARCO that's right behind it. We had trouble at the pump @ Chevron putting gas in the can so naturally my man's goes inside WITH THE PURCHASED GAS CAN to pay FOR GAS. Tell me why JUANITA comes out minutes later saying "excuse me, I watched the cameras and seen you stole the gas can from here" BLAH BLAH BLAH. I'm in the driver seat while he's pumping gas and had my window down. I never whipped out a receipt so damn fast to prove her WRONG talking about some "you need to come inside and pay for it, I watched you steal it" you literally had footage, came outside to accuse him and were WRONG????

Manager is very rude an unprofessional seems like he's bothered that I take my small water jug to fill with ice which I PAY every time along with a water bottle it's never been a problem in any chevron
