Ernie set the table by discussing things over text prior to my visit. Upon arrival, I was lucky to get 2 cars taken care of by Ernie's son and a guy named Art. Super impressive job. They provided fair prices and got the job done quickly. Look no further, these guys are the real deal.

Ran over a ladder that fell off a truck getting on 10 fwy @ Mountain. Cracked front passenger rim in 2 places. Art and Damian were the best. They fixed the rim & mounted my new tire I brought in. Then they pulled off my driver side front tire as a courtesy to examine the inside of that rim to find that the rim was bent on the inside. They fixed that one as well and remounted it. Very fair price. They were Recommended by America's Tire.

They charged me $380. And the wheels are terrible. I took them to a professional after, and they said that these wheels were repaired with vise grips in about 20 min and they are still warped

Ernie doesn’t disappoint! Took my wheel in after hitting a massive pothole, and even with how bent it was he was able to make it look like new again. Was extremely professional and answered all my questions and walked me through every step of what they were doing to the wheel. They thoroughly checked the wheel for cracks, leaks, and balanced it before mounting it back onto my car, all after painting the damaged area. Be sure to tip these guys because they don’t charge enough. You won’t be disappointed!

This place does amazing work, see for yourself. Had a blowout on the freeway and had to ride on the rim to safely get clear of the road. The rim was pretty messed up, but Ernie and his son did an amazing job making the wheel look BETTER than new!! Thank you so much!!

TL;DR - a different wheel refinisher tried twice to paint these wheels and his quality of work was beyond terrible. Ernie gave it a shot, screwed it up, gave me attitude and excuses when he was the one who screwed it up and didn't want to try a second time because he "will lose money". Brought in some wheel faces to get powdercoated after getting screwed by a previous painter's garbage work quality. Ernie assured me he was going to take care of me and told me he's been in the business for 24 years. He looked at the wheels and also said that the previous guy's work was subpar and picked apart what they did wrong. After the wheels were ready for pickup, I found out: 1. Wheels got the wrong shade of gold 2. Instead of the agreed upon satin finish, got a high gloss finish 3. He masked off the rear mounting face instead of the front, which was the opposite of how they were brought in 4. Lug nut seats were powdercoated instead of being taped off. Safety hazard with the finish softening with heat, unless you want to keep tightening your lugnuts until you break off all of the finish Didn't know getting color on half of a wheel was so hard. He wasn't at the shop when I picked them up; just his son was there. I showed his son pictures of the wheels before I brought them there, and he took a picture and presumably sent them to Ernie. Still, his son was unable to convince him that the wrong surface was powdercoated and he told me to call Ernie myself. His son said he could sand off the mounting face, but I explained that I didn't pay $500 to have a section of raw aluminum just not showing. I called Ernie and he wasn't too happy to hear from me since I think he just expected me to take my wheels back and pay him. He said he would redo them but wasn't happy about it at all and hung up the phone before I said thanks. His son asked how that conversation went so I told him he didn't sound very happy and it was down to me being unhappy with the work or Ernie being unhappy that he had to redo them. Thought it was kind of ridiculous that someone who's been in the business for 24 years was trying weasel out of doing the job right and instead pass off second rate work as quality. After leaving the wheels there to get refinished again, Ernie called me as I was driving home. He said that the guy whoever removed the paint off the wheels said that the front side was painted and the rear side was not. I told him that his guy was full of crap and I had already showed his son a picture of the wheels before and that wasn't the case. Then he goes on about how he's going to lose money if he redid them the right way, as if it were my fault that him or one of his guys made the mistake. At this point, I had enough of the excuses and just told him I'd turn around and take the wheels anyway and fix them myself. Look at the text message, I (think he was trying to say) that I didn't give him a chance to fix things. Well he already agreed to redo the wheels then called me on my way home to complain. He got his chance, what was the complaining for? Pretty annoyed he'd think this way despite me asking him for pricing on 3 other sets of wheels that I need refinishing on. Too bad 24 years in the business doesn't guarantee competency if you're going to complain to the customer about losing money fixing their own mistakes. Two stars because I'm a nice guy.

I dented my rim and they were able to fix it the same day for a good price. Most places had a 2-3 day turnaround time.
