“I love OCC! It’s a church community that embraces everyone and became Open and Affirming ?️‍?back in the late 90s. and provides a place for families to grow. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and there is no shortage of groups and ways to be involved. OCC really walks the walk of what it means to be Christian- there is a Winter Nights program , they gave land for affordable senior housing, and they want everyone to ask questions and think for themselves. It’s a welcoming place that feels like coming home. I was raised in this congregation and it has provided me with such a sense of integenerational community and love. And the stained glass and soaring sanctuary are gorgeous- it’s an A-Frame style building set on the hillside and the acoustics are great. I love hearing muaic in that peaceful space.”

“Storyline church came into my life at the perfect time when I was going through a lot of inner healing and growth in my relationship with God. There is a lot of warmth when you step into the walls of Storyline, one that I certainly wasn't used to from a previous church I went to for years. I prayed about finding a church like this and it almost seemed too good to be true to find it, but God was listening to my prayers and he delivered like He always does. The community is amazing and the church is continuously growing. Pastor Akeem loves to connect with each person who walks through the doors (which is hard to come by with other churches), and the leadership team goes above and beyond in how they connect with all the congregants. It's exciting to see where Storyline is headed this year and I'm so thankful to be here!”

“I've been attending SCC for almost 6 years now, and have been so blessed to call it home. When I moved to the Bay Area, I visited multiple churches to find where God was calling me to stay. I knew this was the place after my first visit. I was welcomed by loving people from all walks of life with open arms. This church is a beautiful mosaic of different cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds where no one person feels less important than the other. I'm so glad I found a real community of believers, who I can turn to for anything, as we pursue our calling together. SCC is rooted in scripture, powerful worship and the belief in Christ as our savior.”

“This place is amazing! Like other reviews mention, you exchange cash for different colored tokens and then use those tokens to purchase delicious, homemade tasting Thai dishes. Be prepared to wait in long lines but it's all very worth it. Highly recommend the Pumpkin Basil, Chicken Panang Curry, Eggplant Basil... you really can't go wrong. Be patient, be kind to workers and you'll be rewarded with some of the best Thai food you'll ever have.”

“I was so so excited to finally try brunch at the Thai temple and loved all the home cooked food and atmosphere! It is definitely worth a visit and all the food (especially the beef noodle soup) was AMAZING!! It reminded me of my mom's cooking. There are meat and veggie lines for combo plates with various items and beef noodle soup. There are also desserts and ready to made fried chicken. I wish I brought enough cash for dessert. Here are my tips for next time that I also will follow: - trading in tokens is a 1-1 exchange. You can trade in however much you want and you can trade back in what you don't use for the full value - bring enough cash!! Entrees were around $11-14 and desserts were around $8-11. There are also drinks for $2-4 - use the spice rack. it is sooo flavorful but beware of the spiciness - explore the temple areas respectfully! - the hours are 10-1! A bit early but worth the waking up!”

“Come to this Temple and learn the most powerful tool for overcoming anxiety and depression. Whenever I chant the "Daimoku" (Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo) I instantly experience a calmer state (some may call it a 'higher vibration' or improved life condition) which stays with me for prolonged periods. It's an honest practice with wonderful people and compassionate priests who are patient and kind. They will honestly answer any question you may have about...anything! Come check it out!”
