And tonight after stupidly leaving my keys and locking myself out of my car an angel of a customer just at the right time with the right tools helped me to unlock the car with the help of the staff. I literally had three people helping me when they all could have been doing something else. I would not get that kind of neighbourly attention anywhere else. “Needed gas late at night after a concert in Oakland. This came up on maps so I gave it a shot. I like their gas and this was a great place to stop. Empty streets accept for a few local shops doing construction and maintenance. Filled up the tank and sent a few texts without getting the feeling I should hurry and get going. Nice little town feeling here.”

“The man that was working on the 12th of this month around 10:30 or so is an absolute angel!! I was there because I really needed to get gas but I had found myself in a little bit of a sticky situation which caused me to not have access to any of my funds. And my tank was completely empty and I live in Brentwood which is pretty far from there… it was getting late and I had been sitting there at the pump for about an hour. First, the man came to my car and checked on me to make sure I was okay which was really sweet and then after about an hour or so I had found some change in my car and in my purse so I took that inside and apologized to him for paying in so much change and I guess he could tell how upset/stressed I was because he ended up putting $10 of gas in my tank! I was a hysterical mess just because I was so extremely grateful for his generosity because it was a time when I really needed it. He was just very sweet and very considerate and polite, I am eternally grateful for this wonderful person. There really needs to be more people like him in this world… and he definitely deserves a huge raise!!!! One of these days I’ll figure out how to thank him, I just wish i had gotten his name! ?”
