I didn’t catch the guys name that helped me out but he was wearing a yellow beanie and super cool dude! “The owner is so kind. I went in to purchase drawer glides that were $40 each at a lumbar store. His prices were less and I connected how expensive they were .. he then volunteered and told me there were nearly identical glides much cheaper. I bought a 6-pack of them and it was 2.5 times cheaper than I would have paid at the lumber store. I will go there first for cabinet hardware.”

“We bought flagstones for a DIY walkway project. The staff were so helpful. They have lots of different options. So reasonably priced. They are also honest and kind people. The guy who helped us load was super nice and cute; we made sure to tip him. It was such a wonderful experience and we will be back for our next projects because we love rocks:-) Highly recommended!”

“I frequently the Lowe’s in Oxnard and majority of the time I have a good experience. Lowe’s is great with accepting returns and most of the employees in each department are good. Some of the cashiers are a bit awkward and don’t offer much help. The younger employees don’t have the skill set as the seasoned older adult employees. The younger employees are very lazy and not very helpful at all. The past couple of time going to Lowe’s is a hit or miss with employee helpfulness. I go to Lowe’s because it is closer to my house, but I am tempted to drive the extra mile or two to The Home Depot if my experience at Lowe’s with the younger employees continues with uselessness and not willing to be helpful. I am more willing to ask an older Lowe’s employee because at least I know I will get a response appropriately and helpfulness.”

“I like Harbor Freight .
More so now that I’m retired and don’t need that heavy construction grade tool that will be used a thousand times week in and week out .
They don’t carry “top of the line” that you spend an arm and a leg on, but do carry a decent assortment of different tools and accessories that are pretty fair quality for the most part .
If you’re in a pinch and need something, more than likely you’ll find it here .”
