“This is the first stop to go for all those one-off specialty items, and also any other thing you might need. Metric and SAE hardware, grade 8 bolts, stainless steel hardware.
This is a big store but it isn't a box store with people who have no idea about what they are doing and shouldn't be on the 2 aisles that are the most complex: electrical and plumbing.
There is a big refinery across the street so this store stocks every nut bolt and washer you could imagine because the refinery people shop this store for hardware.
I had occasion earlier this year to meet Bill, the owner who was dressed just like all the other employees in a red vest and on this occasion found me a toilet plunger in the back stock I was picky about. Of all things. Lol. I'm usually at this place for some larger problem.

“So I had been trying to find CO2 for my soda stream system and most of the places in the area (I live in Vallejo) I tried to get my cannister replaced at were either too expensive or didn't have the food grade kind. Called and spoke with Scott, he said yup we have what you need and I was on my way to grab it. Had a great conversation with Scott and got my new cannister, the price was fair and the service and conversation were awesome. I would totally recommend US alloys. So this review is a little late in coming, I was having issues with google in leaving a review before, but all fixed.”

I talked to Mr. Kevin Matteri before arriving, communicating about an Eagle Project I was working on, and he was very helpful as soon as I arrived. He was friendly and took me to look at many kinds of wood to see which one would work best for my project. His suggestions were useful and he even helped me pick out the right screws for the wood I wanted to use. He was extremely generous with his donation for my Eagle Project and was kind throughout the entire process. I greatly appreciate his help and would like to thank him for his excellent customer service. I would also like to thank an employee who was very helpful in cutting the wood to the sizes I wanted. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name but he was very deliberate and took his time cutting the wood to the precise measurements even though they were close to closing time.
