I would fire them if I could. They're my only option so I'm stuck with them. They often miss pickups. Zero communication of when Xmas tree pickup or bulk pickup days are. All cardboard has to be inside your blue bin unlike other services in the area who will take all collapsed boxes next to your blue bin.

Failed to pickup recycling on just one side of the street. Nothing proactive from Rebublic. I called customer service and waited more than 35 minutes before I had to hang up. A business has to work hard to earn 1 star reviews from so many of its customers. Time to petition our local government to find a different provider.

They Didn’t pick up the recycle on the scheduled day so I called them to have them pick up. I called three times each time I was told they would come by to pick it up. Even talked to supervisor who said they would be there in 30 minutes. Never showed!

Trash. Literally. The worst trash/ recycling company in the Bay Area. They are always late. Terrible customer service. They frequently forget to pick up a bin. If I could give 0 stars I would. I miss Recology

This is just another company in California ruining California for normal Americans. Scammers who will take your money when performing no service to you!Many people move in/out at different times during a month, but if you move in the middle of a month they will charge you an entire month and not prorate as they SHOULD do for good customer service!! Highly dissatisfied and super happy I won’t have to continue using bad company’s!So they will be paid for no service being used by the account holder.. and double paid by the new tenants that move in with their account!Just another reason to ruin a beautiful state by the way company’s just take take from individuals and families! What a shame!Would not recommend if you can avoid it!!!

Routinely fail to pick up 'scheduled' bulk pick up requests. I have scheduled several bulk pick ups for yard waste. They have failed to pick it up on time, many times 6 days after. Call center agents are nice but they have zero influence on escalating issues or speeding up the response to a failed pick up.Service: Yard debris removal

I have been extremely disappointed with the landfill, recycling, and compost collection over the last few months. Collection is supposed to happen on Fridays,and more often than not, it does not happen until Saturday. When the trucks finally do arrive on Saturday, they often collect as early as 6 am - and between the deafening noise from the backup beeper, the slamming of trash cans, and revving of truck engines, the entire neighborhood is rudely awakened at this ungodly hour on a weekend morning almost every single week because the collection did not occur on the proper day. Furthermore, the trucks routinely leave trash and recycling strewn in the street after collection and we have to pick it up after the trucks are gone.The rates continue to go up, and the service continues to go down. I can't remember the last time all three bins were collected on the date they were scheduled to be collected.When addressing my complaint directly with Republic Services, I received a lame "Thank you for sharing your experience. Customer feedback is very important to us here at Republic Services. We apologize for the frustration you experienced." How about a plan to fix this ongoing problem instead of an apology that does nothing?

Always at least a day late. Rarely picks up all containers. I have to call in for missed containers almost every week. They used to take anything in large haul away days, now they are very picky.Service: Trash removal & disposal

This is not against the drivers. They are great and super friendly. But the company itself is a joke. They are obviously very understaffed since getting through to customer service is almost impossible and they constantly miss pickup days. And if one of the drivers accidentally misses one of your bins, good luck trying to get someone to come pick it up until the next week, which will most likely be late.

Decent day-to-day service with the occasional late day trash pick up. However, don't use any of their additional services. I've tried using their additional day trash pickups and additional yard removal pickups. The online scheduling system is opaque and it's hard to know whether it worked or not. Calling in isn't much better. I talked to a representative to confirm my online scheduling. They confirmed, however, I didn't receive the service. When I called in again, they admitted they messed up, but there was nothing they could do. Just don't rely on the additional services and everything should be fine.Services: Yard debris removal

They say sorry way to much, and don't follow threw with service, always have an excuse. I'm sorry I'm sorry just dosen't cut it we are stuck with you so start trying to give decent service

They charge for the recycling service but for the last 2 weeks recycling bin has not been picked up and when I call they keep saying they are sending a driver to pick up the recycling by 6pm but nobody shows up. Also, they said they will refund me for not having service for the last 2 weeks. I still don’t see any adjustments to my bill .Service: Trash removal & disposal

The service is garbage. Pun intented. We pay for property service, but we frequently get missed pickups or cans are left in the street. The calls are usually "we will escalate this to.." so and so and that's the end of that. It's frustrating.

Very poor customer service. They don't even fulfill your request. I've scheduled for a bin delivery, the driver did show up at my place with "plenty of bin available" on his truck. However, for some reason, he left without delivering the bin...... he basically stoped his truck, stayed for 2 mins and drove away without doing anything??? why coming all the way out here if you are planning to do nothing???Most importantly, this is not the first time that they've messed up a scheduled delivery/pick up!!Called customer service 2 mins after the truck left and was told that as a "customer service agent" there is NOTHING they can do. The only thing they can do is to put a "note" on my request and I should just wait.Ridiculous and unbelievable...Just can't understand WHY did the driver came all the way to my place with all the available bins but not dropping them off?Service: Trash removal & disposal
