“The ACS Discovery Shop in Pacific Grove next to Lucky’s is more than a Thrift Store; it’s a treasure shop. There are dedicated volunteers, an abundance of fairly priced clothing, and true treasures in the household section. Last week, I was looking for a wall mirror. A volunteer pointed out 6 different ones. To my delight, the last one was perfect.”

“Glad we got a chance to visit here and shop here. I got a cute sweater, skirt, well 2 sweaters and they're comfortable also and timeless! Ladies were really friendly and the guy at the front is very nice! Everyone here including the Filipino guy singing and dancing. Would come here again! Great selection of cute items that are classy and simple.”
“I like to check out thrift stores when I am traveling. Came to second chance yesterday and I absolutely loved it! There was a good selection (more housewares than clothes) and great prices. I got a ton of stuff for only $12!
A lot of the displays were curated well and looked cute. The employees were SOOOO nice. One even offered to hold my baby because she was fussing!!! It was really sweet.
I did bring my stroller in and got stuck numerous times because the aisles were pretty small. I did notice heavy dining tables stacked on top of one another so I could see how other people would be concerned about hazards. This wasn't a deal breaker for me since I was visiting and in and out quickly, but I'd imagine that if you were a local who came in often or an employee, it would be worrying.”
