“Great store, well priced and very nicely merchandised. The staff is also wonderful and it's always fun to stop in and see what new items are in. This is a very well managed store.”
“The ACS Discovery Shop in Pacific Grove next to Lucky’s is more than a Thrift Store; it’s a treasure shop. There are dedicated volunteers, an abundance of fairly priced clothing, and true treasures in the household section. Last week, I was looking for a wall mirror. A volunteer pointed out 6 different ones. To my delight, the last one was perfect.”
“Whenever I’m visiting Inn at Spanish Bay I stop by with my friends. We always have the best time finding fun vintage designer outfits. Golena is the hostess with the mostess and always makes us feel welcome!”
“If you love vintage, you have to come here. My 14-year-old daughter and I came to Monterey this weekend specifically to go vintage shopping, and the moment I walked into this little store my heart skipped a beat. It's packed with the most amazing vintage clothes, jewelry, hats, kimonos, anything a vintage-loving girly could dream of.
Nancy, the owner, made us feel like we were on a personal shopping tour with her as our guide. We talked, laughed, and kept trying things on for hours. I found the most stunning dresses, jackets, and jewelry, and Nancy even taught my daughter how to put on a brooch for her new shawl. All that was missing was champagne and strawberries, that's the kind of experience it was.
We loved hearing the story of how she got into the vintage business. You can truly tell she was meant to be there. What an amazing day. We will definitely be back.”
“Glad we got a chance to visit here and shop here. I got a cute sweater, skirt, well 2 sweaters and they're comfortable also and timeless! Ladies were really friendly and the guy at the front is very nice! Everyone here including the Filipino guy singing and dancing. Would come here again! Great selection of cute items that are classy and simple.”
“My husband and I recently dropped in to this shop with low expectations. It is hard to find nice second hand children’s clothes. Wow were we blown away! They had a huge selection of both boys and girls items along with toys, movies and books. Their prices were unbelievable. $5 for sleep sacks that looked brand new and normally $30 alone. $ 6 for a pack of 12 bibs that were in perfect condition. $1 for a pack of 2 cute baby hats! We left with 2 large bags of items and only spent $60. I was able to get a bunch of items our baby needed without spending an arm and a leg. I understand their inventory changes often considering they are consignment so I will be dropping in often to see if I can snag anything else as our baby grows.”
