“Our cat Cosmo was very chill and cooperative with the vet. He meowed a lot but was easy to deal with, as usual, especially when he is distracted with a treat. :)

We thought that our veterinarian was informative and we agreed on what was best for our friend and we liked the advice our vet gave us. The Coastal Cat Clinic is in my opinion a great place to take your pet because they all have great knowledge on cats and are friendly people. The clinic looks clean and upkeep nicely. I never came out of there with my cat having any fleas or rashes of any kind.

I recommend taking your furry friends to The Coastal Cst Clinic. I think they’re the better deal for your pets care in my opinion, from my experience and I’ve gone to a few places around town and while they were all good, I prefer them best myself that’s why I continue to stay loyal to the Coastal Cst Clinic.

I like Coastal Cat clinic because they specialize only in cats. I think they’re clinic price for care is fare compared to other clinics from my experience. That’s why I choose them over all.

“Dr.Ilana is amazing. She is the dog whisperer of the bay area for SURE! This is our 2nd time needing her expert help and guidance. The 1 st time - my very active labradoodle dislocated his ankle and was put in a cast for 6 weeks - by an Orthopedist - when we arrived at A Well Adjusted Pets - Charlie was happy to be there - he is a crazy labradoodle with way too much energy for an older dog - but the care and expertise that Dr.Ilana gives is unequalled anywhere else. With e-stim to bring back the muscle tone that he had lost and walking in the water treadmill he re - habbed super fast. Dr. Ilana has healing hands. Charlie has now dislocated his knee on his good back leg - so is getting used to wearing 2 braces - which in two weeks he has fully navigated with Dr. Ilana's help. I don't know where we would be without her help - luckily for us we do have pet insurance which has surely helped with the cost. “Wonderful vet hospital. I was very nervous to have my older cat's teeth cleaned, and the whole team made me feel at ease. Cat is healthy, communication was fantastic, care was marvelous, and the whole staff (reception, techs, vets) was expert and kind.”

“Thank you so much for being able to see my dog last minute. I was panicking because Muffin, my 13-year-old blind senior chiweenie, was squinting and seemed to be in pain in one eye. On Friday night I couldn’t find any hospital available for Saturday (and I really didn’t want to go to the ER and pay so much since I can’t afford it).

Banfield has clinics around the Bay Area, and the one in Pacifica had availability on Saturday morning—AMAZING. I checked in online, sent all of Muffin’s records by email the night before, and in the morning Dr. Tam had already reviewed everything, including Muffin’s blood test results and previous diagnosis.

She ran eye tests on both eyes and discovered that the original diagnosis was wrong—Muffin did not have glaucoma. She’s blind due to cataracts, but not glaucoma. That meant I had been giving her the wrong medication/eye drops. The squinting was actually due to an ulcer, likely caused by bumping into something or from debris getting in her eye, which led to an infection.

Dr. Tam prescribed a strong antibiotic, and just one week later Muffin has fully recovered—no more squinting! I’m so grateful for Banfield, for modern medicine, and especially for getting a second opinion.”
