“I stayed here on an Airbnb but the property is beautiful. The golf course appears to be very well maintained. The neighborhood is quite & the residents are nice. I would definitely come back here.”

“We had the most delightful dinner party for ten last night, catered by Chef Katherine King. She was highly recommended to us and I highly recommend her to others. It was a pleasure every step of the way, from her impressive bio, to her beautiful and inspiring sample menus on the website and via email, and especially in the very personalized planning we did together. Her joy and knowledge about food came through and she had great ideas to craft the menu to accommodate the gluten free and heart healthy dietary requirements of my various guests. The meal was exquisite in presentation and in taste. Guests raved about the food. Katherine and her colleague, Craig, staffed the event with such understated competent organization that I was able to thoroughly enjoy the evening and, of course, they left me with an immaculate cleanup at the end. It could not have been a nicer experience. My husband and I are already planning our next event with her!”

“Relaxed, clean, organized and enjoyable. Diligent maintenance and smooth interactions with staff made my extended weekend stay as worry-free as could have been hoped for. Smiling faces and a pool on every corner; literally. Highly recommended place to stay if you manage to find a rental.”

“We are in 3 days of our 3 month rental. I can’t believe the friendliness of residents. And, a couple of delicious meals! I’ve been watching the golfers. They are really bad, or the course is exceptional. Great gym and many activities in the club. When shopping for a home, I’ll look nowhere else.”

“I live here, so I really appreciate the diligent presence of security. It is a bit of a hassle to notify them of every guest, but for that reason I feel very safe here. - Even when I can't sleep and I walk the dog at 3am!”

“Desert Sports Center is an excellent establishment for teaching young and high schoolers volleyball. We truly appreciate the presence of a volleyball club in our local area. My child has learned a great deal from their time there, not only from the coaches but also from the high schoolers who volunteer their time to demonstrate various techniques still in use. This hands-on approach enhances their skills and overall playing abilities. Additionally, they offer spring and summer sessions to help players maintain and improve their game. It’s also a very nice gym if needed to rent out for events or parties during off-season of the club.”

“The room is basic, but it's got all you need. Like the other review, the AC was loud...but the staff made up for it. They were all friendly and helpful. Especially the lady in the breakfast bar! My daughter spilled the cereal and she was so understanding and even cleaned it with a smile :)”

“We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Palm Desert, and overall we had a really nice experience. The kids had a great time, and the hotel was comfortable and welcoming. The pool could have used a little more cleaning, but it didn’t take away from our stay.

One thing we really appreciated was the complimentary breakfast. It was convenient and had a good variety to help us start our mornings before heading out for the day. Whenever I called the front desk for extra towels or toiletries, they brought them to our room quickly. The staff was always prompt, professional, and friendly.

Free parking was another big plus, especially since many hotels charge extra. We also appreciated that there were no surprise resort fees or hidden charges, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was clean, family-friendly, and in a great location close to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Palm Desert”

“Beariful surroundings, mam made small decorative lake, the grounds well taken care off. They also have flamingos roaming.
The hotel look nice , nice lobbies, pools, many different nooks to hangout in.
My gripe ia with rooms. They feel a bit run down and not as clean. For the price you are paying this shoukd be top quality, but does not feel like it.”

“We absolutely love staying at Marriott’s Shadow Ridge – The Enclaves. One of the biggest highlights every time we visit is the pools — the temperatures are always perfect. Whether it’s early morning, midday, or evening, the pools are consistently comfortable and incredibly relaxing.

The location is another huge plus. The resort is centrally located near a wide variety of restaurants, shopping centers, and attractions, so if you want to explore, you have plenty of great options just minutes away. That said, there’s honestly no real reason to ever leave the resort. The food on the property is excellent, with multiple dining options that are convenient, high-quality, and consistently satisfying.

Between the beautifully maintained grounds, great amenities, ideal pool temperatures, and unbeatable location, this resort checks all the boxes for a stress-free and enjoyable stay. We keep coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch Palm Desert getaway.”

“My wife and son stayed at the Marriott Shadow Ridge for 4 nights for New Years between 12/30/2025 and 1/3/2026. We had stayed here back in 2019 and had a really good time. Unfortunately since COVID, they had made some changes which I feel made this resort less desirable, mainly that they converted the movie theater area into a multi-use area. The theater is moved to the room where they had an area with video games. They also stopped showing multiple movies throughout the day, now just 1 kids movies vie during the daytime at the theater and another movie in the evening at the Snakebite pool. They do still offer plenty of daily activities for both adults and kids. All the pool areas were well maintained. There are plenty of people playing pickle ball at the converted tennis courts. They did leave a couple tennis courts for tennis use only. The staff at the Chuckwalla Bar and Grill were super friendly and provided great service. The staff at the front desk were very nice and efficient with check-in and check-out. We chose not to participate in the owner update/timeshare presentation on this trip and they weren’t pushy about it. The concierge allowed use to convert some soon to expire club points into resort credit, so that was a nice option versus letting our points expire. We stayed in the smaller side of the 2 bedroom lock-off, but unfortunately the neighbor on the larger side were really loud throughout most of our stay as the door between us did not block much sound. They really need to put some sore of sound deadening insulation between the lock-off doors and hen they are split units to block sound. Overall, we had a pleasant stay other than the noisy neighbors. Now that our kids are older (18 & 13 year olds), we probably won’t come here anymore as this resort is best for people with younger kids (under 12 years old). The J.W. Marriott Desert Springs is better for adult stays. The Westin Desert Willows (where we own) and Westin Mission Hills are other options in the Marriott system. The Shadow Ridge is fairly close to the freeway for easy on/off and is close to shopping such as Costco, Regal movie theater and restaurants next to the freeway.”
