“Pros:* Awesome atmosphere, great for relaxation* Perfect for golf lovers* Lots of family-friendly activities (flamingo sighting, bird aviary, arcade games, pools)* Friendly service staffCons:* Rooms are decent size but not very spacious* Limited vegetarian options at the resortOverall:A good choice for a relaxing getaway, especially for golfers or golf enthusiasts. While the rooms are a bit small and there are fewer services compared to some resorts that we have visited.. the friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, and family-friendly activities make up for it. Just be aware that there may not be many vegetarian options available.”

“It's a quaint, quiet gem of a hotel. The owner Kim bends over backwards to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. She's warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The included breakfasts are awesome and have a wide variety of options including hot home cooked offerings! This is not your typical crumby old "continental breakfast"....this is a feast! I so enjoyed staying here.”

“Elevator got turned off by staff, waited hours for them to turn it back on they didn’t. Kept telling guests lies about hours long it will take. Had to take 4 flights of stairs the whole day.”

“To be completely honest, I was not expecting much in terms of hospitality, but I got far more than what I was expecting. Kevin at the front desk is a delight!!! Would definitely stay again if I am in this area again!! Lookout for the paintings all over the inn, they are beautiful!!My only recommendation is to have both a bodywash and a shampoo in the bathroom.”

“Friendly front desk attendantvery comfortable room and bedquiet and clean hotel a lovely, clean pool and jacuzzi. The price was great, lower than the Best Western next door by about $20. We overslept and missed breakfast but they do include a proper breakfast. What more could you need, they even have computers available for use. Will definitely be back.”

“Really nice hotel. Great locationWe stayed 2 nights and had 3 rooms for us and extended family.Staff were all very friendly and rooms were clean. We wanted to stay in Palm Springs but the price was so much cheaper and 30 min drive is not bad plus free breakfast.I like being close to stores and restaurants, there is a cvs, sprouts, Albertsons, coffee shop and some nice restaurants within walking distanceOne complaint is the pillows were so overstuffed and hard. Everyone in our 3 rooms said the same thing. It made your neck stiff because it was just too thick and not squishy. They should replace all of them and doesn’t cost much. Beds were comfortableAlso we mentioned to them the shower water was not very warm/hot and they said sometimes the handles need adjusted/fixed. They compensated us though which I wasn’t expecting so that was really nice customer service. We have always stayed at embassy suites but the one across the street had bad reviews which led us to stay at best western this trip. I stayed In best western a lot before I had kids and travelled for work and always loved it. our experience here I think will switch us to best western for future.Nearby activities: We went to the living desert zoo and aerial tram and loved bothWalkability: Everything you need very close”

“Travel during peak season and "annual maintenance" is scheduled for the main pool aka Snakebites. Be sure to ask if there will be closures before booking. Now, we're all going to be crammed like sardines in the other pools.”

It’s close to Sprouts, making it easy to grab healthy snacks and meals. The proximity to local shopping centers added convenience and an opportunity to explore the area’s retail offerings.• Comfortable and Clean Rooms: My room was not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day out in the desert. In summary, the Holiday Inn Express in Palm Desert offers a fantastic stay experience with its warm staff, excellent facilities, and prime location. “This property seems a lot bigger than the other Marriott property's in the palm springs area. Rooms are decent. Pool areas seem to have more activities then the other property's. Golf course is really noce.”

“Very good for what we paid! Would recommend if you were in a pinch and/or on a budget. We traded some of our Welk Platinum points to stay here during the Christmas holiday (2023). It was not to the level of the Welk properties we have visited. But, it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We traded at pennies on the dollar, so it was a good value.”

“Prior to our arrival I received several emails asking which building we wanted to stay in and street level or above. But not if we wanted to face the golf course which was what I wanted. It wasn't until our arrival that I stated view of the course. Luckily there was a building/villa available but over at Jasmine Court. Fine by me. Jasmine Court is like an extension of Desert Springs I and II. Very very quiet. Except at 6am when gardeners are mowing the fairways on the Desert Springs Valley golf course..Our villa directly faced hole 4. If you require any housekeeping items it's encouraged you text your needs. There's no comp housekeeping if you're a timeshare owner unless your stay is greater than seven days. The villa seems upgraded. Fresh interior coat of paint and reupholstered furniture. Parking was easy. No elevator up to the second level which is a big reason for us to request ground level as we've got our golf clubs, luggage, groceries, etc. Would I stay at this property again? Sure.”

“Would give 10 stars if I could. The staff go above and beyond to make sure things get done. The property is very clean and well-kept. I don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about regarding noise coming from the street? Newsflash, if you leave your windows open you are bound to have noise from the outside. As the entire Coachella Valley grows, prices are sure to rise. You don’t vacation in paradise and have a good time if you’re cheap. Courtyard and Palm Desert, you treated me very well. I’ll be back next year.”

“Very quiet place. Kind of in the middle of no where. About 15ish mins to the main drag of Palm Springs which was perfect! Wish my stay was longer to utilize the kitchen, which was impressive. Breakfast included was a little lack luster. I'm used to more hot food options at other Hiltons where this morning, they just had taco looking cheese omelets and sausage patties. There's also a little dog park at the edge of the parking lot.Rooms: The rooms are like a studio apartment.Safety: Even tho the property is kinda in the middle of no where, I felt safe. Chose a room where I could see the parking lot to my car.Walkability: There's only 1 elevator that's in the middle of the two wings of the hotel so it's a trek to your room if you're at the end of a hall. Definitely reccomend parking by the entrance so you're not walking down 2 long hallways like we did thr first time.Food & drinks: Free breakfast wasn't as extensive as other Hiltons I've been to however it worked!”

“Loved this location! Service was awesome! But our room had some missing light fixtures, and the shower door was installed unevenly so the water would flow out into the rest of the bathroom. Besides that, this is a great, accessible location.”

“Room was clean. Check in was a breeze. Upon arrival customer service was great... Which is saying a lot in this area from my experience. No breakfast... Coffee and tea packets. Wifi was good on my phone but spotty on laptop. If you're working remote I wouldn't recommend this place. Basic cable.. No guide though. No USB ports for TV. For the price a decent place. Had to ask for extra blankets since the heat was mid... But housekeeping provided extra blankets so that was ok”

“With all the negative reviews, I was expecting the absolute worst experience but I was so pleasantly surprised with my stay! I had a last minute stay over President’s Day weekend. Yes, the rooms were very outdated, the restroom was tiny, and the floors were dirty (my toddler and baby ran around barefoot in the room and their feet were BLACK). But the bedsheets were clean and bed was comfy. We were on the first floor (I avoided the second and third floors with all the bad reviews about the elevators not working) and it was fine. The staff are incredible. Checkin was speedy and as Diamond members, we got a little bag of water and small snacks. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Omelettes were fresh as everyone stated. There was a tall white American man who was bringing out the food for us and he was working so hard and quickly (this man deserves a raise!!)Cocktail hour was fine. Chips, dip, grape, pretzels. Very mediocre but free is free. Bartender was also really nice. All the other guests were super friendly too.Sure, this is not a Conrad or Waldorf but for a quick visit to the Living Desert and Zoo, it was a perfectly fine stay for us.”
