If I could put 0 stars, I would. First time to the pharmacy- they are so unorganized, so not communicate well and are almost rude. Prescription not filled and have to wait. Ok, it happens, but it was called in several days prior. On top of that, was waiting at a window for non-express customers , but was never helped. The express window was helping customers but they never once thought to explain that. (Happened to several people after me as well). I was surprised to have to pay, usually I do not. He was not nice about it. He also repeated questions that I had already answered. It was clear he was not happy to work there. I will rather drive further to another pharmacy. I will never go back.

I wish we could select ZERO stars!! Went to this STUPID Walgreens for a Covid/Flu test after scheduling it online...so I had an appt for two people. We show up and they have ZERO covid/flu tests in stock! No one notified us of this despite the fact that I submitted ALL my info when scheduling the appt. NO apology; NO one offering to help us find a different location. Just a DUMB look for the DUMB guy on the other side of the counter. INEPTNESS is the new norm people... BTW, I had also scheduled future appts for this week, and received confirmations for all... So much for being responsible!! One more thing I should share. I used to get my mom's prescriptions filled at this Pharmacy, and 3 years ago, we were missing some Xanax after picking up the prescription, so on all future visits I had them count them out before taking them home. As I was doing that on one specific occasion, another woman in line heard me and said, "oh yes, they steal drugs here." Be on the lookout!!!

I don't know her name, but there's an older woman who works here who is terrific. She's usually in the cosmetics area, but is happy to help w most store questions. Knowledgeable, professional, and polite. This is the way retail should be run!

I'm changing pharmacies to CVS. I have HAD IT with this pharmacy!! I went 5 times to the pharmacy this past week and each time the pharmacy was closed or randomly closed. I went back again today and was told my prescription wasn't ready. All I can say is that I have NEVER had similar problems with CVS or RITEAID. There's something seriously wrong with this pharmacy and whoever is managing it. Maybe I have just had the worst luck with this pharmacy - I guess that's possible but I don't understand when the pharmacy randomly closes (because it's slow) when it's supposed to be open.

So happy I spoke to the pharmacist (at a pharmacy called Palm Desert Drug and Compound ) who was compassionate and knowledgeable. He was honest, straightforward, very helpful and I’m happy to give him my business! This is something, I have not seen at a Walgreens, for several years, and it’s imperative when dealing with people who come to your business to get wellness services and need you, to feel better, or human. I tell you, it’s amazing how much I have lowered my standards and settled for this location and tge old Walgreens pharmacy I went to for so many years, for not even mediocre service, and downright terrible customer service at times. I kept making excuses for their lack of quality service, but not anymore, because it’s not the new norm… it felt like this during beginning pandemic, but now it’s back to having some pride in your work Walgreens on Monterey! Especially In an industry that needs competent, compassionate, and professional leadership- no excuses you have to have people skills too, especially if you have to make up for the horrible service.Thankful I found a place that is sincerely there to help people just by this man’s mannerism over the phone, and the correct answer I needed that was honest and straightforward, thank you!. I appreciate this immensely, and it’s a breath of fresh air knowing we have businesses that are still personable.WHO ANSWER THE PHONE SO I DONT HAVE TO DRIVE OVER TO ASK A QUESTION!!?♀️ Adios and Best of luck

Is 10 :09 pm I went to the doc early am cuz I was feeling really sick I got out of there like 10:30 am;since 2 in the afternoon I had been calling to see if my prescription is ready and unfortunately is not I just came back from the store a few minutes ago ,turns out that only the store is 24/7 not the pharmacy but this is not specify in their web site ! I had to walk 1/2 an hr to get there and the same coming back and will have to do that tomorrow too hopefully by a great miracle they will have my prescription ready I hope ! Worst experience ever. good thing I'm not dying ! Cuz they don't care !!!

I went here to try printing some pictures. They have a beautiful setup for it. The store is huge. A little bit of something for everyone. I love their seasonal displays. The place was very clean and shelves are kept neat and tidy. A great place yo shop.

This place is full of over stressed employees and overworked pharmacists. I’ve never visited a Walgreens where it wasn’t chaos eve try one working behind the counter is plain over stressed. But I’ve never had a Walgreens fail my Mother every single time she’s prescribed something. It takes days for subscriptions to be ready. In store wait around 30mins. Can’t call them as they put you on hold over and over and over and over. I eventually hung up after an hour waiting with someone picking up and saying hold please and clicking off. This isn’t service. Walgreens sucks. Try the target pharmacy!

I’m trying to find a new pharmacy as my one is closing soon. I immediately regret trying this Walgreens. The pharmacist that took my call hung up on me twice in the middle of me asking them a question. I am in pain and I need my prescription.

Literally one of the most unfriendly pharmacies I’ve ever visited. No friendly hello, no smile, nothing…everybody there acts like they hate their job & you for bothering them.Just one shade short of rude. And never have I ever picked up a prescription anywhere, and not had the pharmacist or somebody instruct me on the usage & precautions, even on a refill. The tech just handed it to me and walked away. Umm excuse me but I might have had a question!Worst customer service, next time I go to CVS.The store team are good, the pharmacy team suck!

Mike was very helpful!.... I then I left the store, and a man was sitting in his van frustrated with some cords.. I wasn't able to help, so I went back in store.....the cashier Vlard ?....was compassionate but unable to leave. Mike was there again! He came out and was ready to help with this man's device.....I don't know exactly what was going on, but Mike took control & figured it out!Excellent customer service! He went above & beyond!I have always been in the hospitality industry in Lake Tahoe and really appreciate and know that good service really makes a difference!Mike really needs it o be appreciated!

Honestly , by far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with . It’s so close to my house so I still use them but if you have other options please do yourself a favor and Pharmacy staff and go somewhere else. They basically never answer the phone and if they do it’s after a half hour wait of them picking up the phone saying “Walgreens pharmacy please hold” within ONE second your back on hold before you can even talk . The hours of operation seem to consistently change and drive thru is hit and miss if it’s open . If you want consistency or service , this is not your place . I would be happy to retract my review with better future experience. Hopefully y’all get it together or a manager steps up to clean up.
