Hours: Desert Vacation Villas is a great hotel offering a comfortable and peaceful ambiance with stunning mountain views. The setting is nice, located next to a beautiful neighborhood and close to the magnificent houses of Palm Springs. The location is excellent and perfect for getting around, within walking distance of downtown, several restaurants, bars, and coffee joints, with grocery stores, gas stations, and other amenities nearby. Parking is very good and easy. The accommodation is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with rooms laid out in three buildings. The rooms are big enough, though some furniture is getting a bit worn. The kitchens are very nice, well-stocked, and galley-style with new appliances and everything needed. Beds are nice and cozy, though one mattress was noted as a little too firm. Bathrooms can be pretty tight, but there are great walk-in closets. The very nice swimming pool area is a highlight, with a hot tub, brand new BBQs, lots of deckchairs, and a mister. The grounds are perfectly kept. The staff are excellent, very friendly, helpful, respectful, cooperative, and knowledgeable. This property provides the best value for money and is highly recommended for a return visit.
