“We use this post office location frequently for mailing packages.
They are open “regular” hours and it’s not as busy as the main post office location, so I often don’t have to wait in line.
They have packaging materials available, and all of the boxes and other envelopes and packaging that you will need for priority mail items.
You can get money orders here and buy stamps here, also.
Service is usually friendly and helpful.”
“Brett was an always a friendly and very knowledgeable in every aspect. I’ve never had a bad experience the past three years of using this location. Always smiling even when it’s a hectic day. Completely trust his services! Greatly appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the whole staff.”
“We all have times in need in which we need a reliable place to ensure our goods are delivered and shipped on time. The customer service here was outstanding, Mike will answer any questions you have. You can purchase shipping supplies here as well. 10/10 I would recommended this spot for future needs.”
“The staff at the Rancho Mirage post office are fantastic - very friendly, helpful and polite. The lines may be long sometimes as many customers engage in conversations with the staff while they process the transaction, which makes it feel like a small-town post office. Great service with a smile!”
“My experience included with working with friendly, professional, competent, patient and courteous staff. I was also able to call this post office and ask a question on a matter outside of the prompts. I was pleased!”
“I have been living in DHS for almost 7 years. The men and women behind the front desk have always been patient, kind and helpful to me. Better than any other post office’s I’ve had to do business with anywhere! Even all the swanky neighborhood in LA and Orange County. These people have gone over and above to find lost packages and important documents I was waiting for. I can’t say enough about them. Now the mail carriers, that’s another story. They sometimes leave packages in the full sun instead of the shade. Once a package was lost and I’ve noticed they may be a little lazy or perhaps they are just overworked in an area that is known for punishing weather. So I can’t be too hard on them. The reason we have a PO Box is to receive packages that won’t survive the heat or are too important to leave unguarded in a mail box, even a secure one. I do love this post office. If you are polite to them, they will go out of their way for you. Great people!”
“Last week I realized I had ordered an item that was going to be delivered by USPS, and being in a short term rental, I wouldn’t have access to the mail box. I went in person and requested they hold the package for pick up BUT imagine my surprise and delight when I realized the mail person had left the package at my front door, eliminating the need for another trip to the post office. Many thanks!”
