Told me I couldn’t return a gateway here but have to drive to a corporate store instead.I’ve worked in the industry before and 3rd party stores that do this are truly the worst, even if you are buying I would go to a different store as 3rd party stores are clearly not held accountable.

I ordered the new iPhone for express pick up at this location which was confirmed both by the MyVerizon app and 611 that it was available for same day pickup.The store was listed to be open until 7pm. I drove in at 6:45pm and the lights were all turned off. I do not live in the area and drove 40 minutes because I placed an order through 611 and they confirmed that this location had my phone in stock for express pick up. There were 2 employees (man and woman, names undisclosed for privacy purposes) working that day (12/27, Wednesday closing shift), both of whom HID BEHIND THE FRONT DESK and pretended that the store was closed when I walked up to the store. I walked up to the door where their hours were posted and confirmed that they were still open until 7pm. Since I saw them physically still there, I decided to knock just to check. Lo and behold, one of the employee walks up, she turns on the lights and lets me in, while the other man proceeded to still hide. I told them the reason for my visit, only to find out that they didn’t have my phone in stock. They told me I should have called to check first to see if it was in stock. But I’m thinking, why would I question what both the MyVerizon app and 611 is telling me? How would I know that as a customer?Horrible customer service for Verizon Palo Alto for hiding behind the desk, turning off the lights and pretending they are already closed when they are still technically on the clock and being paid.Also horrible service from 611 and MyVerizon app for not having up to date info and telling customers that a certain location will have my phone ready for “express pick up”, when in reality they do not have it in stock, and that I should have saved both my time and gas and ordered it for next day delivery.

Verizon told me to return device to a store by phone. Just went to this store and get rejected. Asked to return to a Verizon store at 219 university ave also got rejected. Give both store one star. Remember always ask a return kit on the phone and do everything online or phone. Hope this comment helps.

In-store cellular, a blast from the past. If you value your time and will to live for the love of all things, please order online. Come to this store to understand why online shopping is winning. Verizon has great signal, but their customer-no-service policies preventing me from becoming a user. Strong coverage and my willingness to endure the pain of onboarding was not enough.

I scheduled an appointment to order a new phone at 1 pm. Coming to the store I found a sign "Lunch back by 2 pm" and the door was closed.And when I was back at 2:10, I found another sign.Are you kidding???I have just one question: do you really think I will stay with Verizon if they provide such service?

After checking deals via Verizon online , I thought it is better to go to the store for a better consultation. Guess what the guy behind the contract has no interest to sell anything and the price he mentioned was very above the Verizon online deal. The funny thing about it was that while he spoke to me he was multi tasking and was busy with packaging. Really? So I believe I need to stick to my current carrier.--------------Response to
[email protected] other people reviews, I strongly recommend to focus on trainings of your staffs. Your copy and paste standard response obviously died not improve the experience of previous customers. I alrea upgraded my plan, but for Victra and Verizon, it must be a lesson to invest in their staffs and not blindly response to Yelp reviews.

The worst! I have a receipt from this store confirming that I turned in my old Android phone and would get an $800 credit, as they had promised. It has been FIVE months and no credit has been given. I have been in the store multiple times trying to remedy this, thinking if I was there in person they would be more likely to care. Every time I am there it's a different excuse, and he tells me he needs to look into it, talk to his manager, will call me...on and on. When I asked for the store managers contact info - he had told me previously HE was the manager - he said he couldn't get the info as the security had just changed. I am beyond frustrated. They just don't give a sh*t.

terrible place employed by high school graduates who's only interest is to waste time and terrible customer service. This is why your service is terrible around palo alto, just a block down AT&T gas a way better environment with properly trained employees with basic mannerisms of a sales person. I walked out after talking to one of the poodle heads who does not know wtf he's talking about. This is why your rated like a garbage.

I bought 2 I phones here a couple of days ago. I was told I would only get about $350 in trade in for each phone as they both were working but had cracked screens. I went in today to turn in the old phones and here's the good news and big shout out to ERNESTO!He looked again at the possibilities for trade in and found a special deal where if I added on some accessories-which I needed anyway - it would bump up my trade in allowance to $700 for one phone and $600 on the other. He totally did not have to do that as I had already completed my purchase and Verizon already had my $$$ !I highly recommend this store-also ample parking in the back and the store was clean and had plenty of product choices. Thank you, Ernesto!!!

Very nice, Ernesto was able to troubleshoot my issue in less than 5 min. It took a few minutes to do the SIM swap and get everything back on the network. In and out of the store overall in about 20 min. Great experience; will go here again! Thanks Ernesto!
