“I have stayed at the Palo Alto Inn several times this past year due to appts at Stanford Hospital. I have been very happy with my stays. The rooms are updated, clean, and very comfortable. Each room has a small fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and a safe. Based on the full parking lot every time I've stayed here, I can tell I'm not the only one who feels safe and comfortable here.
The rooms are reasonably priced, compared to other hotels/motels in the area. They're not overly fancy but, again, they are clean and updated, with plenty of amenities. I am very comfortable here. The staff is pleasant and friendly, and always makes sure I'm aware of the free snacks and drinks they keep in the lobby for their guests. This is where I stay when I'm in town.”

“Being a Hilton Lifetime Diamond Member, I’m always underwhelmed by the lack of basic hospitality at the nearby Palo Alto, CA Hilton properties so I decided that stay at this highly rated hidden jewel property. From the time I was warmly greeted to enjoying my extra large hotel room in its mid century modern decor. The rooms are overly clean and comfortable. The management team are the jewels of the property always asking if I needed anything or providing guidance on restaurant recommendations. Like many other countless hotel guests I highly recommend this wonderful property in the heart of Palo Alto and Stanford University very close by. Happy Travels”
“Compared to average hotels this is a 5/5. However, given the luxury tier and Nobu's reputation I would rate a 3.5/5.
Service is fantastic at the restaurant and bar but the hotel staff could use some polishing. Especially the manager (dark hair, medium brown skin) who is quite casual in approach and doesn't often make eye contact with guests or speak with grace.
The room is missing basic amenities most other hotels have like cotton pads, qtips, etc. And they do not keep them in stock so there's no point in asking. The shower head sprays aggressively in all directions getting the whole bathroom wet. And the shower fixtures have mold and calcium build up.
While I love the location and the comfort of the rooms and beds, I do hope Nobu will work on their overall service, upkeep of the fixtures and rooms, and their amenities.”

“Overall nice hotel, especially for a longer stay. We were here for approx 45 days. Needed a long term place to stay due to some medical needs. Stanford Medical and University is just under 4 miles from hotel. Plenty of places to eat and shop including grocery shopping. Less than 1 mile away.
The hotel serves a nice hot breakfast and mixes it up daily. Coffee is pretty good along with a variety of teas. On M-Th evening from 5:30 - 7:30pm the hotel serves Beer & Wine and includes light bites. The selection of light bites is actually really nice. Ranges from Soup & Salad w/ Cheese & crackers with fresh cut up fruit. Other nights included Hot Dogs with Fries or Spaghetti with Garlic Bread. The hotel tries to mix it up and offers variety.
We stayed in an Urban Suite which was perfect for our stay and provided a fair amount of room for a large stay. We had a full size refrigerator with 2 burner electric stove and microwave. Had a dishwasher and all the basics, dishes, silverware, pot and pans and things like a cutting board, can opener, large knife and other things. 2 TV’s (1 in living area and the other in bedroom area). Plenty of storage and closet space. 3 washers and dryers on the property, nice gym with variety of weights and a pool area along with 2 barbecues. A big shout out to Elizabeth (Front Desk Area). She was very helpful and was one of the main reasons we stayed at this property. Very comfortable place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful.”

“My sister and I stayed here while her husband was admitted to a nearby hospital unexpectedly for a medical emergency. We chose this hotel because of its convenient location, but what made our stay truly special was the kindness and compassion we received from the owners and staff.
From the moment we booked the room, they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. They were incredibly understanding of our circumstances and showed genuine compassion and concern for us throughout our stay. Their kindness meant so much to us during such a difficult and stressful time.
Our room had recently been renovated and was exceptionally clean. I loved the simple, modern design, the shutters instead of traditional curtains, and the fact that there was no carpet. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room also had a separate kitchenette area with a sink, garbage disposal, refrigerator, and microwave. Having these amenities was especially helpful given our circumstances and made the room feel much more like a comfortable home away from home.
What we will remember most, though, is the genuine kindness of the people who run this hotel. Their compassion went far beyond what we expected, and we are incredibly grateful for how they treated us during such a difficult time. We would absolutely recommend staying here.”

“I stayed here during the day while my apartment nearby was being remodeled, and I wanted a quiet space to take care of my baby. I was able to check in early in the day with short notice. The room was very large and had the option to open a second room with more beds which seems convenient. While not the newest, the hotel is clean and spacious and has the basic amenities eg fridge, microwave, and kitchen sink. AK was very understanding of my situation and helped me move my items between the room and my car while I was holding my baby.”

I had a good check-in experience, and they have a bike available for complementary use.However, my shower would not drain, and there was some noise (footsteps) from the floor above when people walked around. The rooms are small with very little natural light.”
“We stayed here for 5 nights. Our check in was a bit delayed because they were updating a software in their system. Check out was smooth.
Rooms are a bit old and we had an issue with our jacuzzi. They initially sent someone to fix it but when they realized it’s broken they upgraded us to a better room.
Overall good service and good location.”
