“This has been the best hotel experience of my life, particularly for business travel with my husband. Everywhere I turn I'm absolutely delighted by the thoughtfulness and care that has been put into every detail and amenity at the hotel. It's so refreshing to see investment put into items I actually need (and/or thoroughly enjoy!) during my stay. Stressless and herman miller chairs make it easy to work from the room, breakfast is delicious (and caters to a variety of cultures and diets), the workout room is well stocked and spotless, Japanese toilets are awesome, the bike borrowing and shuttle system is so convenient, and the pillows and rain shower are luxurious! I also loved the thoughtfulness of having a yoga mat and blocks in my room alongside quality bath products. There are multiple other things I could name, but I'll end with highlighting the hotel was outstandingly clean, rooms had wood floors, and staff is very kind and friendly. I will go to great lengths to stay here again for future travel. My stay was so relaxing and pleasant as this really felt like a place where I want to spend my time.”

“My roomate and I had an exceptional 2 month stay here in one of the 2B/2B apartments while waiting for a lease to take effect. Hotel was great, no odd guests, and the service was awesome. While all the service staff were amazing, Gaurub in particular presented us with exceptional hospitality. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Overall, a good stay. Check-in was easy, the front desk was helpful, and the staff were very friendly.

One thing to know: this hotel is not walkable. I forgot contact lens solution, which was my mistake, but the hotel doesn’t carry it and the nearest Safeway is about a 25-minute walk.

The cafe is great, with good coffee, sandwiches, and salads. I’d skip the restaurant, though. The burger was one of the worst I’ve had and the chicken skewers were undercooked. The seared ahi was excellent.

Good hotel overall, but I’d eat dinner somewhere else.”

“Great solo weekend stay! I spent most of my time reading by the pool and really enjoyed the bar, the cocktail menu was really well crafted. I also enjoyed their coffee shop.The spa was a highlight, with a steam shower and sauna, both felt high end and well maintained. The room was modern and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. It’s in a business oriented area but still walkable, peaceful on the weekend and close to plenty of things to do. Would definitely come back for a recharge weekend, or a mix of work and relaxation, it’s ideal for that.”

“Comfortable and clean. Free breakfast daily (cereal, oatmeal, waffles, and bagels/muffins). Super convenient if you are doing anything on Moffett Field. Friendly staff.”

“My partner and I stayed here on a little staycation. Firstly, the hotel staff are great. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant workers were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable.

The location is fantastic too. Walkable to lots of stores, restaurants, and even entertainment - the Alamo Drafthouse is on the next block over.

The hotel itself is modern and clean. The amenities are great. The pool is a teeny bit chilly but I liked that it was covered so that if it were raining, you could technically still enjoy it along with the hot tub.

The hotel room was nice - spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The water pressure was okay and I do wish there was liquid hand soap as I'm not a fan of soap bars for hand washing but that's just me being nitpicky.”

“Over priced for what it is our room was $490 not sure why for one night mid week. Parking was free. Elevator was scary. Carpet was yikes dirty in hall and room. The breakfast was the best part. And the hot water was good! It was located near our event so that was a bonus.”

It was such a great pleasure to meet them all!
Our well-appointed room was very clean and sanitized. Bed was very comfortable, linens were very fresh! Bathroom was clean! 👌

Their Housekeeping crew is very hardworking! We met a few of them, and they were all very professional and courteous! 😇

The entire property was very clean and fresh!
A good hotel stay only becomes better with their staff and quality of service.
Not only was the manager very attentive but very responsive too! She seemed very hands on and a great problem solver!
The front desk staff : Michelle, Karen, Gina, Johnny were all very warm hospitable!! Their maintenance person Roberto (Herbierto) was very proficient! 👍

And their parking facilities are awesome!! Well kept & clean premises!

“Hotel Avante was lovely! I was here for work and really enjoyed my stay. As others have said, it’s not the best place for a crazy California vacation, but if you need to be in Silicon Valley, it’s an excellent place to stay. Rooms are nice and clean, and have pretty solid amenities. By far, the best part of the stay was RJ at the front desk. He was an absolute delight when he checked me in, and was a friendly face to see at the end of long work days. I really appreciated his hospitality especially. The pool and hot tub are incredible as well! I spent nearly every evening of my trip out there. Excellent experience!”

“I stayed at City Express by Marriott for a week and had a wonderful experience\. The hotel is in a very convenient location—the bus stop is almost right in front of the hotel, and supermarkets and restaurants are all within walking distance\.

I especially want to thank Oscar at the front desk\. He was very friendly, kind, and helpful\. He showed me where the bus station was and even helped me change a $20 bill into smaller bills and coins so I could easily pay for the bus\. That was such a thoughtful thing to do and made my trip much easier\.

“Nice hotel with great staff, but an exposed carpet rip in our room this week means the nails are poking upwards and went straight into my foot when I walked to the bathroom, be careful and bring your own slippers.”

“Stayed for 2 nights. Staff is friendly and hotel is nice. Rooms are good and spcious. But Refrigerator was making noise and made it difficult to sleep and also exhaust in bathroom was making high pitch noise sometimes. Other than that, everything was fine.”

“We enjoyed our stay here very much. The bed was so comfortable. The AC was nice and cold. The room was clean and they had a decent breakfast in the morning. The door seal might have needed to be replaced in our room, we had a couple outdoor bugs that came into the room, but not those kind(if you know you know...). Even with this, the staff was helpful and responsive. I gave 4 stars because for a 2 star hotel, the price and amenities were decent and I would stay again.”

“For the room rate, this hotel is incredible. Great location next to multiple stores / restaurants / gas stations (careful to keep an eye out for it as it comes up quick when you get off the freeway), the room was very clean, and the lobby is cute with wonderful decor. Free parking and a lovely free breakfast. I would certainly stay here again.”
