“Mollie Stones offers a similar high-quality shopping experience to Whole Foods, minus the pretentiousness. If you're on a tight budget, it may not be the best choice, but if you're in search of top-notch meats, fresh produce, an extensive wine and liquor selection, and exceptional customer service, then Mollie Stones is your go-to destination.”

“On one beautiful Saturday night, I came upon this Walgreens, and I thought like all Walgreens, it could simply be satisfactory or not. But to my surprise, I was greeted at the door by the warmest staff lead, and then walked around the store to the lovely voice of Carole King. "Winter spring summer and fall ... I'll be there, yes I will, because you've got a friend." Inexplicably, this Walgreens has great vibes.”

“First time ever I tried the deli at Safeway, the one on Middlefield in Palo Alto. I ordered and ate a hot ham and cheese sandwich on sliced sourdough bread with mayonnaise. It was fantastic. The best sandwich I have eaten in ages. Wow. What a pleasant surprise. I also ordered a small bag of chips and a bottle of water. The total price was modest, to say the least.I sat outside Safeway on their bench. I wish that they had some tables and chairs for eating inside and maybe one or two outside.”

“I usually will find myself walking to this location to pick up meds from the pharmacy. The times I drop by vary but usually it may be weekday mornings or weekends. And there is usually no line or there is maybe one person in front. After your turn, The process of picking up meds is relatively fast and easy like "bang bang .. 6-4-3 .. two ... double play"”
