Hours of operation appears to be incorrect. I was unable to enter the store due to a broken door they could have gotten fixed at a time that doesn't interfere with customer shopping hours. I am visiting the area and won't be back.

This place is on the border of being fraudulent. They took advantage of an old woman who thought she was selling her fur coat for a decent price and wound up getting $60. There’s no way to get in touch with anyone or get a call back. When you call you get somebody in India.

I shop TRR online all the time. I’m store looks beautiful. And staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. But their products are not put in order by size. I don’t have time to waste looking at every piece that catches my eye to check the size and then find out it’s an XS when I’m an XL. Please order your clothes by size. And, create a sear h for Bangle sizes just like you do Ring sizes.

Horrible horrible. Do not ever give the people that work here the time of day. Do not listen to their advice, it’s wrong. They will remove things on hold for you. & you will come in & it’s Sold! They have no concern or remorse or extend an apology. They won’t OPEN a box & let someone who brought a product in to even touch it. Unprofessional & stupid no phone call, no approval from a store. A random phone customer service agent has the power to remove an item out of a cart on hold by a store for a customer! One phone call… no communication or approval. I’m there w/ cash, card & my dress is in the back in a box about to get sent out to someone else. They said NO need to purchase we’ll keep it on hold & make make a note to customer service! LOLLOL Trash

The RealReal's customer care is an outstanding example of what good customer service should look like. It's clear that their team is committed to providing a seamless shopping experience, and I am more than eager to continue my shopping journey with them.

I dropped off some Louis Vuitton luggages and they have not got back to me, nobody responds calls or emails. Be careful when you drop off things because they post them right away in their site without asking you to previously confirm the quote.

Awesome place! I was blown away by the selection of clothing they had from streetwear to even designer clothing. If I had a bunch of money I would've definitely blown it all here, will visit again soon :)

I am writing this review for the real real as a Company, not specifically for the Palo Alto location. I would advise you under no circumstances to consign anything with this terrible company I have an eBay business, and have been selling on there for 17 years. I looked at the real real and saw that they had been selling things that I had for good prices so I thought maybe I would give them a try for some of my higher end items. I made an appointment and a "luxury manager" would come to my home and pick them up, which seemed great since I would have to do very little work to get them sold. She arrived two hours early with her dog. Which was less than impressive. She took my items and was unable to print me a receipt which made me quite nervous. She did eventually email me one. Several of my items sold and I received pennies on the dollar like seriously $200 for a $3000 for a coat and seven and nine dollars for a couple of other very high end pieces. So I requested that my items be returned they promptly return them to me, and as I was beginning to list them on eBay, I used the Google Image search function and found that they had listed every single one of my returned items as sold!! This gave me great concern in a couple of different ways number one I have seen their sales and decided to consign with them. Clearly they are misreporting their sales since they are returning items and reporting them as sold! Secondly, I was until today, a shareholder! I'm wondering if they're cooking the books? I have reported them to the FTC joined the class action lawsuit against them and I'm in the process of reporting them to the Attorney General. I don't know what's going on with these people, but they are not OK when I tried to get answers about these questions I have gotten nothing but the runaround and a pile of BS. I have not spoken to anybody directly. They claim to call me, but my cell phone would say if they had called and they haven't called when they said they did. They keep sending me email saying it looks like your issue was resolved so we're going to mark it closed. I don't know what's wrong here, but it is something very serious. I would not be surprised if they go down in the near future buyer and seller beware

Better to consign with a local consignment store. In addition to making a pittance on your sale, they now deduct $ for payment by check for your sales, which they never mentioned before.A RealReal Rip Off!!

Poorly managed with high employee turnover. Accordingly, few are helpful at this location.Bad clothing in stock, as well, including pieces with irreparable damage.Convenient to have the store for returns and consignment and I hope they don't close it like the others, but it is easy to see why most of their stores are failing.-- It makes me think that the work environment might be not great. :( --

This company has gone downhill ever since they went public. The customer service is terrible and the listing price for your items is so low with their automatic discount that it is impossible to get any reasonable amount of money.

Ugh extremely disappointed! They promised not to sell my LVs at a discount if they exceeded $1,000, which they did; guess what?! They sold my LVs at a discount! They also sold my jewelry at over 50% off even though I asked for my items back; instead of sending my stuff back, they kept reducing the price until it got sold for super cheap! This company is a scam. They don't care about the items they sell because it's not theirs. Learn from my mistake, and don't sell with this company!

Missed my valuation / selling appointment and was ignored in stores for more than half an hour and until closing. Very hard to reach, half the time can’t find anybody to help. Phone line isn’t being picked up. And once you do make it into the stores the person that is supposed to valuate your items isn’t even prepared and sometimes even already left work that day. Disorganized and will take my bags elsewhere

I should have learned last time when I submitted my items and they lost them and it took me weeks to get reimbursed.Believing in second chances I submitted multiple items and was supposed t get checks mailed in Dec, Jan, Feb and March- total of $5026.09- I have tried to contact TRR via phone and email - checked the address, was told that they have to confirm that check were not cashed(yes, they tried to imply maybe I am trying to get two payments??). Today when I called Illea(not sure if spelling correct) tried to blame the USPS- they are not perfect, but 4 checks that were supposed to be mailed in 4 different months- unlikely. in short TRR turned into shady, untrustworthy entity with no customer service what so ever- I asked to speak to manager and was told that they can put 24-48 hrs request???I guess the legal way is the next step.
