“Gas prices are average to high. Pump setup is great. The store itself gets a markdown one star because their selection of cooler beverages is often lacking particular brands or flavors that should be there but rarely are...in spite of this, they have a great beer cave with more exotic flavors or varieties you may not find at the grocery store.Four stars is for the awesome staff, clean store, and they serve some great breakfast burritos in the morning, or a nice snack like pizza sticks or chicken strips around lunch. They even take the effort to provide a selection of dipping sauces. The fountain selection is regular but another highlight is they always have frazil, very important for a hot day, delicious slushe! Doughnuts delivered daily. They close early Sunday.”

Usually the service is decent. Today, for example the cashier wasn't even listening or understanding the questions I asked him...had me purchase a lottery ticket I didn't ask for. He was too busy talking on the phone and completely oblivious. Do better!!
Otherwise, my place to go to get inexpensive gas and snacks.
And lottery tickets WHEN I WANT THEM!”

“Vasu gas and food is a small gas station ⛽ in Redding California. It has the cheapest gas prices in town. It has a small store that sells soda , candy., Chips, beer, cigs, drink, some cold foods,... Lottery.. but it doesn't have hot food..”

“I was driving across the state and had to fuel up, get snacks, water, etc., and briefly pitstop here. Then my bank debit card was flagging fuel charges, sent me and the gas station notifications "fraudulent x-state charges" (BTW, great bank customer service notifications). The patient employees here were very helpful, understanding, and helped me expedite through the banking issues. No attitude, all patience while I sorted out what may have looked like debit card fraud across the state w/ my charges. Somehow, I was charged 3x while trying to sort it out w my bank, and the management here QUICKLY (immediately!) were on top of it: expediting refunds, and reached out later to follow up. There are places that wouldn't do this, so I was absolutely thrilled with this pitstop and how they handled it. I have to drive this route in the future, and I'll stop here again. Keep it up, customers want service like this, which is hard to find nowadays. Thanks, guys!”

“Good prices on gas! It is a little tight for RVs and people towing trailers, so I recommend entry from Motel 6 as then it's a straight shot out of there. They do carry ice and the drinks are really cold here, which is a huge plus in the summer!”
“Easily accessible location. Hooks a lot of commercial traffic, so can be a pain to get a pump in the mornings. Has good food in the hot case and a nice variety of items in the store. Haven't tried their BBQ on Fridays, but by the smell of it, it's fantastic.”
“Gas up there most of the time to save a few cents sometimes I take the car through there car wash that works great they replace the brushes often which is a plus so you know that your car will not be scratched up”
“I absolutely love this car wash! First off the men and women who are working here are part of a phenomenal recovery program and these guys are getting a fresh start! They work so hard so bless them with a good tip! They detailed my car in 110 degree weather and took 1.5 hours on it! Considering I just returned from a week of camping it was not small thing! I am grateful for their hard work and dedication!”

“This is the only gas station I use. I live near Mount Shasta and work in Redding. I used to get off late in the evening and this was the safest gas station for a woman to stop at by herself in the evening. Even now that I stop in the early evening and there are new owners. It still feels safe and is very clean, well stocked, and convenient.”
“The station was nice but due to road work it was difficult to get to. If the work wasn't going on it would have been very easy. This review was for Valero in Shasta!”

“The employees here are always so awesome. Linda was very helpful this morning and I appreciate her hard work. If they would lower gas prices I would fuel up here more often as well (it is a Chevron). This review was based on their customer service and product availability though.”
“This chevrons really nice the energy drinks and everything else there's seems reasonably priced, However, the gas price is expensive because it's a Chevron. And I didn't like how the store was cluttered. And it did look quite dirty, That is why I'm gonna give it a 4 star.”

“I admit I went the full 5 stars because I am not completely impartial with this location. However my review will be objective.Gas is on the more expensive side. If you are just looking for cheap gas I would recommend safeway gas station if you have points saved up or Mike's food and fuel if you are paying cash.Location wise it is convenient for those who live in the area. Those traveling through on I-5 not so much.The staff are friendly and the establishment is kept up well enough. They just removed some of their shelving. Not sure if they plan to put anything new.If what you are looking for is a convenient store to frequent with friendly staff this is the place.”

“My go to store on Pine St. I've been a Safeway shopper since my parents shopped at our hometown Safeway. This location has a transient population that has been moved back from the entry doors. I appreciate that, and carts are always available. I like the savings I get with the club card, and I get all my gas at this Safeway fuel station. I get help bagging my groceries and often I am helped out to my car and groceries are loaded for me. What a blessing for a 76 year old woman who moved here to be helped by her family, but whose family discontinued all help. The Safeway clerk's take the role of family for me. I appreciate that more than they know. I can find better prices elsewhere, but my loyalty is with Safeway. I have used grocery pickup and highly recommend that service. Good communication and pleasant clerks.”
