“Had a problem with my washer and went to Kimo’s Appliance. James was amazing so friendly and helpful. To helping me look for a new washer and offering to take a look at my old one to see if it was repairable. They are very busy, he was able to squeeze me for an appointment today for the technician to come to my house.The staff very professional keeping in touch with me with a ETA when the technician will arrive to my home. When both technicians arrived they fixed the problem. :). I’m so happy and great full to have found them. Highly recommended this place.”
“We bought a Viking fridge last week and were very excited. Unfortunately, when it was delivered, the fridge had scratches and also would not close because of a factory damage to hinge. So why am I writing a 5 star review? Because their entire sales team is top notch. From Sarven to Ysabella to Berenice, they left no stone unturned to get the fridge fixed the very next day. Guillermo Franco, who is their GM, actually drove to my house to assess the problem and was on the floor trying to look at the hinge.This was majorly impressive and if I could give them 6 stars, I would - with full kudos to Mr. Franco and his team. #JustAwesome”
“I can't believe it's taken me so long to write this review, because Savon is a go-to for me. I bought a fridge here for my first apartment, and Marsha educated us on why modern fridges are so terrible. Marsha is really the best, because she's the type of person where you can tell she's not BSing you. Years later, I bought another fridge here - not because the first fridge died, but because I moved out. That first fridge is still going strong 8+ years later with my roommate and I still have the replacement fridge 5 years in! We also bought a stackable washer/dryer from Savon, and then sold it back to them when we moved. Most recently, the washer at our new home started leaking as soon as we moved in, so we replaced it with another workhorse from Savon. Eventually we may switch over to more modern appliances, but in the meantime Marsha and Savon have been lifesavers for helping us save money and keeping these appliances out of the landfill.”

“From our first contact, right through the install and beyond.... everything was perfect! David was a pleasure to have helping us in the store... he is knowledgeable and informed about all things BBQ and more... and provided clear and appropriate answers to all of our questions. The installers came earlier than planned but called prior to make sure we would be home.... and installed / assembled the BBQ quickly and cleaned up everything. What a great and exceptional experience.... Thank you to David and all the others that made our purchase such a joy! Now for using the BBQ... cant wait!”
“I brought my boss' Miele vacuum here to be serviced. They did a great job and fixed a problem with the extension for the vacuum head. They also got it done faster than anticipated and the price was fair to take care of that very expensive vacuum. He also taught me how to change the filter and to make sure it stays really clean for optimal operation. I appreciate that kind of care.”

“Sears has come back from the department store dust! For over 130 years, Sears was one of the leading, if not THE leading chain of department stores back in its heyday. As a kid, I fondly remember seeing a chain of Sears stores and their commercials back in the 1990s. Unfortunately, in today's age of digital and technology use, online e-commerce sites such as Amazon, eBay, Temu, and more have been on the rise of convenient shopping. According to Wikipedia, as of January 2024, there are 13 Sears stores remaining, with 12 in the mainland U.S. and one location in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico. Although the declining number is staggering, Sears has a legacy of mall culture and launching the movement of ordering from mail catalogs. As a local Burbank resident, I am happy to see that this location is one of the last ones remaining. Don't get me wrong, I occasionally shop online but in the end, I generally prefer going to a physical store to get what I need. The Burbank location has 3 stories, the top floor being the most empty due to renovations. The second floor has women's, children's, and men's clothing and accessories. The bottom floor consists of housewares and kitchen appliances. Surprisingly, there is a large variety of items in store with fairly discounted prices. I really hope that this location and Sears as an entire chain overall will remain in business, despite the continuing rise of other competitors and the convenience of online shopping.”

“My water tankless heater failed on Good Friday, expecting heavy rains Saturday, went to Home Depot and they only had 1 in stock (a brand I've never heard of). Called Ferguson 5 minutes before closing and told them my problem and that I was 3 minutes away, the salesmen said come on down. When I arrived there was someone waiting with the gate partially open, actually knew his stuff and had me in and out in 15 minutes with the brand I wanted and made sure I had everything I might need. They saved my weekend, it's nice to know there are still stores out there who will help a man out in a pinch. Thanks a bunch guys, I really appreciate it!!!”

(don't be a sore sport because you can't buy here) This protects the hvac trade and doesn't allow unskilled do it yourself types to (play) repair guy.
