We searched for a new refrigerator and would not buy from chain store, as the customer service, wait times and selection were subpar. Not only did we save on this purchase at Burbank Appliance, but Mike really listened to our needs. He also included fast, professional delivery, install and haul away. Outstanding all around, period.”

I also noticed there’s a lot of sewing machines and there was a class being given at the time. “The trio of big box stores here are the big draw. With a discount wholesaler, a home improvement store, and electronics store there's a lot to be found here. Several other food options are available here as well. It's quite a busy shopping zone.
The parking lot is basically divided into 3 sections. One for each big box store. The overall parking lot is huge. However, parking around each of these stores is usually quite congested. If you're visiting all three stores, you will probably be reparking several times.”
“On 4/20 I took a Dyson hand held vacuum to The Yellow House repair shop in Sherman Oaks..I drop it and a rubber seal and the plastic ring that holds it came loose..the guy said the rubber part was worn-out and the plastic ring was broken..on a 1 yr old vacuum. He said $270 was what It would cost..so I left and went to Tony's..they checked it out and everything was a good shape. They put it back together in 20 minutes and changed me $20 just for the labor. Tony's is a very Honest business..and to all who need vacuum repair service..Stay Away from The Yellow House..they will rip you off.”

“I can't believe it's taken me so long to write this review, because Savon is a go-to for me. I bought a fridge here for my first apartment, and Marsha educated us on why modern fridges are so terrible. Marsha is really the best, because she's the type of person where you can tell she's not BSing you. Years later, I bought another fridge here - not because the first fridge died, but because I moved out. That first fridge is still going strong 8+ years later with my roommate and I still have the replacement fridge 5 years in! We also bought a stackable washer/dryer from Savon, and then sold it back to them when we moved. Most recently, the washer at our new home started leaking as soon as we moved in, so we replaced it with another workhorse from Savon. Eventually we may switch over to more modern appliances, but in the meantime Marsha and Savon have been lifesavers for helping us save money and keeping these appliances out of the landfill.”

“The gentleman is very honest man, and knowledgeable, I had bad pool pumd. And recommended me to change it to a regular pump, it worked out well. Also when I double checked the pump price online his price was about the same only that he did the labor too included in the price. Thank you for your hard work.

“I want to give a big thank-you to Erick in the Plumbing Department today, 8/21/26. I had an issue at home with some old PVC and a shut-off valve. I have absolutely no plumbing experience, but Erick went out of his way to help me find the replacement parts I needed based on my pictures and even took the time to briefly explain how to make the repair and replacement.
I could tell Erick is a great employee because all the other customers in the Plumbing section knew him by name. That says a lot about the service he provides!

“Huge selection of furnace filters here. Ours is a non-standard size and I've never seen it at the big box stores, much less the mom and pop shops. Tried ordering off Amazon before, but the filters show up kinda mangled. Some of their inventory requires a contractor's license, so you may wanna call ahead.”

Xavier from this Home Depot was very professional and very kind, arranged for my grill to be picked up, got it assembled, and returned it to me. And all of this was done by one phone call, he followed after that. Amazing customer service and support by him. Thank you Xavier”

“I do recommend Home Depot but their return service need to be reviewed. The last two times I retuned an item in the late evening there were two return stations open. Both stations had multiple item returns and the line was getting longer. But there were three or four employees further back that seemed to be conversing and enjoying themselves rather than opening up a new station. Management needs to retrain these employees.”
“My water tankless heater failed on Good Friday, expecting heavy rains Saturday, went to Home Depot and they only had 1 in stock (a brand I've never heard of). Called Ferguson 5 minutes before closing and told them my problem and that I was 3 minutes away, the salesmen said come on down. When I arrived there was someone waiting with the gate partially open, actually knew his stuff and had me in and out in 15 minutes with the brand I wanted and made sure I had everything I might need. They saved my weekend, it's nice to know there are still stores out there who will help a man out in a pinch. Thanks a bunch guys, I really appreciate it!!!”
