“Such a great store in Sun Valley. This is a store worth a trip to pickup your pet supplies. A large bag of dog food was $9 cheaper than Amazon. They have such a big variety of pet food, treats and supplies. The owner and staff all provided service with knowledge and smile. I will definitely be returning for all my pet needs.”
“I can’t say enough good things about this place. The moment we walked in, the staff greeted my two Shiba Inu’s like they were old friends. You can tell they genuinely love animals - they treated my pups with so much love and respect, it honestly warmed my heart.
The bakery items are adorable and clearly made with care. My dogs devoured their treats (and they’re usually picky), so that says a lot. Everything smelled fresh and looked good enough for me to want to eat ?

“I really like this store and I’m not sure why I haven’t gone sooner. They carry a wider variety of healthier options for dog food & treats than the big box pet stores have and the employees are so nice and helpful. The store was calm and clean and they offer the same loyalty program for Acana that Petco does where you get a bag free after a certain amount. I’ll be coming here instead from now on!”

“My sweet girl just became a fan of this place and I'm sad it wasn't sooner! The whole experience on our first visit was amazing & the manager Joe is the best to deal with! He is so personable, friendly and has the biggest heart for dogs. Even as he helped us out he acknowledged all that came in and knew the dogs by their first names. That alone is the best customer service but it gets better! He asks you questions about your dog and allergies, issues etc and gives you the best plan for your dog. Joe also gave me a full tour of the store and watching their cooks cook this food for our furbabies made even more happy that my fur baby Harlow loves this place! I highly recommend & she also had no issues following Joe's transition plan! Her fur has become so shiny too! Thank you ❤️”
“Love this place! They are so helpful and informative and I love shopping at a local small brick and mortar over a huge chain. They are always participating in community events, the owner is very kind and always looking out for his customers. The only time they didn't have the big bag of the type of food I buy for my dogs, he discounted the smaller bags so I could get two at the same cost. You just don't get that kind of service elsewhere. I will always look for ways to bring my business to them!”

“My girl, Hazel, is a bully mix that I rescued as a 8-10week old puppy. She had already changed hands 3 times at such a young age. Even at 1.5yrs she was still struggling with confident issues, so I started bringing her into the zoom room agility classes. The classes have really helped to build up her confidence because she has so much fun getting 1:1 time with me, as well as running over, through, and around all of the different stations. I really love seeing her pittie smile. In the level 1&2 class you usually get 2-3 runs, it really depends on class size if you get more. She recently graduated to level 3.”

“I gotta give a HUGE shoutout to the entire staff at this particular Urban Pet location, literally everyone working here is a G. Our dogs love coming by here so much that we have to take different streets to get home sometimes! There are always special treats behind the counter, and a warm welcome every time we stroll in. We come multiple times a week because the vibes are strong and the love for animals is felt. Thank you guys so much for being an important part of the community, I hope the higher ups see this post and give you all raises, because you all deserve it. “Our dog April has been taking training classes with Brigitte Ortega. Brigitte is a wonderful Trainer. She is very knowledgeable and patient and all her canine students love her (so do their Parents). The other employees at this Store are friendly and provide great service.
