“I like these people a lot. Very friendly and very helpful. However... Daylight savings weekend. I paid for 24 hours. Had to return it by Sunday at 12PM. I got the reciept Saturday, at 12:11PM, then had to sit in the parking lot for more than half an hour taking photos and documenting the condition of the truck (for which I am not on their payroll or clock) so I didn't actually leave the store until 1PM. And then due to Daylight Savings Time occurring that weekend, I lost another hour. I didn't get what I paid for. Had I kept the truck an extra hour or two to make up for that, UHaul would have easily charged me at least another $20-$30. I find that very disappointing. As a long-time business in the business of renting equipment for 24 hours and they have no policy to rectify this oversight, I find that very disappointing. To be clear, this is an issue with UHaul, not with this location. U-Haul Strikes Again one month later: When returning a vehicle after hours using yournoreciois app, instead of settling the bill by making a whole new and separate charge to their card, why not just ammend the amount you took at the start of the transaction? Apparently you have the right to take, from my money, twice the amount of your deal making my own cash inaccessible to me for 3-5 days? I have other expenses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again, this issue is with me and UHaul. Not these fine people who represent a corporation with iffy moral practices.”
