“Family friendly card game shop in Signal Hill/Long Beach. They have MTG, Pokémon, Lorcana, and all sorts of accessories. They have local tournaments going on through the week as well, making this place a great community for those into the card game hobby.”
“I have been here a few times now and they have the best staff of any card store I've been to. Every employee has passion for collecting and they all genuinely care about every customer that walks through the door. They also have a great selection with a variety of options for every collector.”
“I live in Georgia and have purchased from Evasive twice so far. On the 1st order I made a mistake and needed to talk with someone. I was able to speak with an employee quickly and the have First Class customer service. I bought the hard protectors for Thrilljoy Pix. I was impressed as the HIGH QUALITY of the protectors. I was also shocked given the price as it was low, especially for such high quality. Evasive is my go to shop! They ship quickly and pack with care.”

“I’ve known Manny, the owner of Playdays Collectibles for a few years, and my experience has always been very positive. I’m not going to lie and say that Manny always has everything I’m looking for, but I can honestly say that I’ve never walked out of Playdays Collectibles empty handed.
To conclude, Manny is a great human being, he is very welcoming to everyone, and the environment is very pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Playdays Collectibles to all Diecast collectors and enthusiasts. You won’t regret your experience.”
“Hobby Lobby is a great place to find arts and crafts, home decore, and holiday items. I love shopping here because you never know what little gem you might find.”
“The owner David is super friendly and down to earth. Loves talking wrestling and very caring. Even when I met him for the first time it was as if I knew him forever. My family and I love going to this store. Also check out the roof of fame. Wrestler art and autographs of talent who visited or had a signing at the store.”
“Great place if you’re looking to pick up some cards, sealed, or join tournaments! The staff were super nice and patient when you take your time. They were also very helpful if you need guidance on what packs to open, what cards are within a certain budget, and what era each of them belong in. Will be coming back here for singles!”
“A group of friends stopped in to check it out and was really impressed with how the hobby has become. We rented some slot cars there was 6 of us on a very large track and fast cars as you would assume chaos followed i haven't had this much fun in many decades at a slot car track i wish I lived closer”
“I had come in a few minutes before closing and the owner was so kind to let me check around the store, answer any questions I had, and to not rush me at all! Very very kind. Will be back again!”
“Dan recently assisted my dad and I with a purchase of an MTH Santa Fe diesel set. He was extremely helpful in explaining the transition from a Lionel starter set over to a conventional power setup. His solid recommendations got us up and running with a great engine.”
“This is my all time favorite soccer store! The store itself carries an ambiance of professionalism and uniqueness. They have so much variety, everything from original jerseys to jackets and shoes! This is my go to place when am looking for soccer gear. Their prices are far better than any other nearby soccer stores. They have the best customer service and I can see that they have a strong dedication for their customers. You can really tell that they have a strong passion for sports and really know about the soccer community. They also carry a cool selection of hobby accessories such as plastic and die-cast collectible models. Definitely will be going back, again and again, very soon!”
“Looks smaller from the outside than it actually is. They have a decent selection of older magic and yugioh cards. Awesome comic selection. Older and newer issues. The Asian dude behind the register was saying he’s fairly new to comics but he definitely isn’t new to customer service. A+. He sold me on the sentry comics and even recommended that I give the new avengers a read. The area behind the register is a mess with a bunch of boxes and random figures. Other than that, it’s a cool little spot.”
“My wife loves coming to Michaels getting supplies for project for her school and personal things she like to make. She can find everything in Micheals for projects and personal things. The prices are incredible affordable for any price. The staff are very helpful and also knowledgeable.”
“New to TCG's and this shop has been so helpful everytime I visit, answering all my dumb questions and guiding me in the right direction. Looking forward to playing in my first event this Friday!”
“Cool store and friendly staff. Went to commander tourney to play. Only problem was how bias the tournament was. If you're new, the pods are just going after you. Really no point for the tournament if they're all friends and just going for the new person first.”
“Very empty arcade. Operates on a card system where you add money on a card to play games and I really like their pool table. Spaced out good and seating too. Only 5 bucks to rent the table for 45 mins on weekdays, unsure if it's different on weekends.”

“Table 1 Gaming is an incredible gem in the Bell Garden community. I have preordered many products from them, ranging from cases and structure decks for Digimon, One Piece, and Riftbound. They have never failed me as a customer. They are always transparent with their clients about and delays if/ and when they occur. If you’ve never preordered from them before, give them a shot! They’re extremely reliable and have incredible prices. But be quick because they sell out FAST. Lastly, shout out to the owner and their staff; they are truly top notch. They care about their players, their customers; their community. Like their motto says; they wanna see you at Table 1 :)
Photo attached of some hits I’ve pulled from genie boxes!”
“Its my favorite place to go. From paint to model's, you can find almost anything in the store for dnd or warhammer40k. The staff are all helpful and nice .
To play it will cost you $5 or purchase something. There is tabletop buildings and more that you can use. But remember to return it once you're done.”
“I bought some gold bullion and had a great experience. Jason was really helpful and easy to work with. He answered my questions and made the whole process simple and straightforward. I’d definitely come back again.”
“I stopped by OG Collectibles in Downey the other day and honestly, it was a really good experience. The shop is clean and well-organized, which makes a big difference when you’re digging through cards. They’ve got a strong mix of stuff: current Pokémon and Magic sets, plenty of sealed product, a decent vintage section, singles in binders, some sports cards, and even a bunch of Funko Pops lined up.
The guy working there (long hair, laid-back vibe) was helpful without being over-the-top. He didn’t hover, but when I asked about a couple specific cards I’ve been looking for, he actually checked the back and came out with them. No pressure to buy, just straightforward. The woman behind the counter was friendly too, answered my questions about grading and pricing without making me feel like a total newbie.
Prices seemed reasonable for the area, nothing crazy inflated like some spots in LA, and better than what I’ve seen online for certain things after fees and shipping. I ended up grabbing a few singles and a booster pack, spent more than I planned but walked out happy with what I got.
It’s a legit, no-nonsense collectibles shop with a chill atmosphere. If you’re in the Downey area and into cards or pops, it’s definitely worth checking out. I’ll probably swing by again next time I’m nearby.
Solid spot. 5 stars, no complaints.”
“I just left long beach towne center MICHAELS ART AND FRAME. DEPT. SHE WAS GREAT. CAN NOT REMEMBER HER NAME. I AM A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. Kristen was helping with frames. She was the best.”
“I was not sure what chess set I wanted since they had so many to choose from. I called them up and let them know what I could afford and the gal that helped me was wonderful. I got my chess set in less then a week and could not be happier. Thank you for the great customer service.”
“Very great card shop! Started playing magic about a little over a month and everyone there has been nothing but kind and helping me learn the game fast and teaching me how to build a deck and to make my deck to be better! Bought plenty of cards here and prices are very good! I have sold/trade cards to them and they gave me very good prices for them! Staff is also very knowledgeable on just about everything and they are very kind!”

“RC Street Shop is a go-to place for RC fans. They have a wide selection of cars, parts, and accessories. The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help with repairs or upgrades. Great vibe, fair prices, and solid customer service make it a favorite for hobbyists.”
“They sell hard to find rolife kits and miniature dollhouses kits. Blind boxes galore and Pokémon, Blokees, gunpla, and miffy. Stop on by! so much in a small store. Wheelchair accessibility is limited to the main aisle.”
“I usually order online then pick up in the store. The products are always ready when I pick up. Today I had to make an exchange because I had selected the wrong color yarn and Mr. B was very helpful getting the exchange corrected. Great service.”
“It was very busy. I was doing a curbside pickup but ended up going inside when the wait was taking longer than expected.
I had to wait until an associate was available to provide assistance.”
“Updated 8 years later: the current manager(tall guy, with a beard) is always helpful and knowledgeable and knows exactly what I'm looking for and where to find it. Nice, doesn't seem bothered even though he's always busy. Super fantastic.
Always deals. Staff is helpful. Great for creating on a budget.”
“This seems to be the only alternative store in South Gate, it’s nice that the community should support the local businesses. I discovered this local store in social media and I come here on occasion. To find tees or other merchandise from my favorite bands and artists.”
“1st time here. Small little Hobby shop stocked with plenty of name brand parts and accessories for your RC needs. Traxxas, Associated and others. The guy behind the counter was nice, got my part and sent me on my way. It looked like he was working on an RC vehicle so maybe they do repairs. I'll definitely be going back. Pic is of my Kyosho Landmax.”
