“I started here at Sierra View Homes in 2017. I was in the Terraces apartments for 6 months, then moved to the independent Garden Apartments for 4 years. After awhile my balance got off and you don't want to fall and be laying there for days, so I decided to move here to the Assisted Living where I'm checked on more often. I've been here for 2 years.
I like it! I'm comfortable, I've saved money. They check in on me multiple times a day. It's quiet, and I sleep well. They have a great wellness center with the exercise machines where you can be seated and go as fast as you want. Exercising is so important! Today I did 3300 steps in 30 minutes. We have Sittercise every day. They even hosted a competition where we were competing for steps!
Every day I do Sittercise, go out to the Wellness Center, then go to lunch. I visit with friends at lunch - you have a table so you get to know people. There are 2 tables of puzzles - I work with another friend (I do the edges, she fills it in). We usually meet there and do the puzzle together before dinner. They have movies that where you see your friends, and you can go visit other people on campus that you know. It's nice staying here on campus as you need more help because you keep in touch with your friends.
The nurses and staff are great. They jump right in to help. Everyone is friendly here. They also drive me to my appointments. I know the drivers here - I'm a bit of a nervous passenger, so even though I could call other transportation, I prefer the Sierra View drivers.
I would definitely recommend that people come to the assisted living. I'm very happy here!”
“I've been making pick ups at chooljian's for 21 yrs. Of all the raisin plants they were the fastest to get you in & out they have a great system there, I was there today to say goodbye to Petey (that's right Petey) & Kory, I've known Petey for 21 yrs. not once did he ever have a bad attitude it was always a pleasure going there, I am now retired, aaaaah.?”
“KCAPS in Kingsburg is a great place to visit, browse, and maybe pick up something new or well loved for yourself or for someone else. They are always having special promotions and discounts, depending on the day of the week. Sometimes they even have some free bread, rolls, baked goods, and even some fruit. You may even find a new piece of furniture which needs a bit of TLC, or just some furniture polish. So, next time you're in the city of Kingsburg, stop by KCAPS, and see if you won't find something special.”

“I contacted this place to adopt a kitten. I was told to complete an application with all my personal information and never heard back. I tried calling several times and was told next to nothing. No one had any information on what was to happen next. I have never experienced this lack of professionalism from any adoption center in the past. Very unprofessional!Update: I was later contacted by Brenda, she was very kind and explained to me that they are short staffed and could not get to my application as quickly as they would have liked. I have changed my review to reflect this information.”
