Blair's Speed Shop has a long-standing reputation, with a history dating back over 60 years, as highlighted in a vintage Hot Rod Magazine. The shop is known for its expert work on a variety of classic and custom cars, often handling jobs that others might shy away from. Customers appreciate the shop’s ability to diagnose and fix complex issues, such as electronic ignition problems, and its skill in customizing vehicles—whether it’s installing disc brakes on a hot rod, fitting roller rockers on a Triumph TR3, or balancing vintage engines. The shop offers parts and services for a wide range of vehicles, including old models like the 37 Oldsmobile and 1956 Triumph TR3, as well as hot rods and classic cars from the 50s and 60s. Many customers have fond memories of visiting Blair’s, describing it as a place of wonder, like Disneyland for car enthusiasts, with floor displays of transmissions and vintage parts. The shop’s significance extends beyond just technical work; it has sentimental value for many, with stories of family members who worked there and passed down stories about Blair’s. Overall, Blair’s Speed Shop is recognized as a dedicated, knowledgeable, and historic automotive shop that has served the hot rod and classic car community for generations.
Frankly, I have never been to this place ... but I found it, under the same name, in a 1960 issue of Hot Rod Magazine (!!!) If You have been in business for more than 60 years, You have to have something going for You!
