I went to this location for a car rental. It worked out great. Thanks to their employee by the name of Andrew. He was very polite and very professional. It’s good to see that in a workplace. I will definitely go back again if Andrew is working there cause he seems to get the job done.

I paid for a Model Y, but instead I received a cheaper Model 3. This Model 3 is in poor condition – the interior is messy, it has high mileage, and there are abnormal noises when driving.
This is completely unacceptable. I paid for a Model Y, and I expect to receive the correct vehicle in proper condition.

⭐ 1 Star — Extremely Disappointed with Hertz Pasadena
I had one of the worst customer service experiences at the Hertz location on E Colorado Blvd in Pasadena. The staff were incredibly slow and seemed completely uninterested in helping customers. Instead of assisting people who were clearly waiting, they walked around aimlessly, avoided eye contact, and acted like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. One particular employee was shockingly rude—dismissive, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. Her attitude made it clear she had no interest in doing her job or treating customers with basic courtesy.
I came in expecting a smooth rental process, but instead I was met with confusion, delays, and a total lack of accountability. If the staff can’t provide even the minimum level of service, why is this location open at all? It felt like they were doing everything possible to avoid helping anyone. I’ve rented from other Hertz locations before and never had this kind of experience. This one was a complete letdown.
I won’t be returning to this branch, and I strongly advise others to avoid it if you value your time and sanity. Hertz needs to seriously reevaluate the management and staff at this location.

One of the worst services I’ve ever experienced—and I’ve been through some good ones. With people like Art and Dejuan running the place, it’s no wonder Hertz went bankrupt. An absolute clown show of an operation.
Dejuan, a Division 7 basketball player, seems to take out his frustrations on innocent customers. It’s not my fault you didn’t make it to the NBA. He saw a wrapper and immediately accused me of smoking weed, claiming the car smelled like it too. One of the most insane accusations I’ve ever heard in my life.
After I told him the wrapper was there before and that I don’t even smoke weed, he looked dumb because he knew he messed up. It was absolute discrimination on his part and a wild, baseless assumption. Coming from someone like him, he should’ve known better.
Not to mention, when I called him for help and assistance, he told me I was wasting my breath and hung up on me. Never go there. Never rent a car from that location. You’re better off walking or riding a bike. They’ll make your life miserable for no reason.
If I could leave a negative review I would. To save you the troubles and heart ache..

Dyani and Dujuan at the Pasadena location was absolutely marvelous. Great customer service the issues I had in the past. I did not have to reload them again thanks. They’re amazing customer service.

rented a car on line went to pick it up, was told I was considered a standby reservation. That meant I had to wait until 2:00-3:00 pm to see if someone turned in a car!

My review is more so about Hertz overall. The service at the location was great, friendly staff, expedient, and easy. That said, I needed to extend my rental by eight hours, and the fees came out to $200 for that ONE DAY. Ridiculous.

Made a reservation well in advance.
Then called to adjust it by ONE day which they confirmed.
Flew to LA, took and Uber to this location, just for them to tell me they had NO VEHICLE FOR ME.
My biggest issue is that the two employees working the counter had zero to say about it, no remorse, no empathy, NOTHING.
They only repeated for me to call corporate over and over but then continued helping other customers more and more.
Switching to Enterprise who just saved my trip.

Customer service is not it here. Had to call 5 times and had no answer. Went here and the guy at the front was rude asf for no reason. Maintenance on the cars are not it either.

I booked a car online. My friend dropped me off. Before i even walk in a bald black guy comes out (only pointing out his race cause i never got his name). He goes “I’m telling you right now we ain’t got no cars today” and then I’m just looking confused and keep telling him i already booked and paid and he keeps repeating that. Then he goes “tell bro bro to pick you right back up” cause he saw my friend drop me off. 0 customer service and etiquette to the point it was actually amusing. Then i say “ so what happens to the money then? “ he gave me a number to call. I called them to process a refund. And it never happened. I’m still in the process of getting my refund a week later
