Extremely rude & unprofessional. Get upset and give attitude when you try to ask a question. Or flat out ignore you.

Thank you Alex in the occupational/worker comp department. You really helped my boyfriend out and we're super courteous. I wish I could say all my experiences have been like this one but sadly I can't. Thank you for standing out and making me feel special. Hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Made an appointment to get routine labs drawn and their system was down. The plan they implemented as backup did not respect those who had appointments or STAT lab orders. Everyone was being treated as a walk in and being given a piece of paper with a number to be called. I expected Kaiser to at least have a backup system like printing out the schedules the day before or allowing people who can show that if they made an appointment, they can be in an expedited line. I was instructed to avoid consuming anything for 12 hours prior to the lab draw, so I am quite irritated that Kaiser's lack of foresight took an extra hour of my day and delayed my ability to eat.

I went to urgent care to get my stomach checked due to having some pain after eating dinner the previous day. I was seen in five minutes or less. I saw Doctor Abraham who was very concerned and understood my pain. He recommended drinking plenty of fluids and eating toast and bananas. He said I had the stomach flu and that it just needed to take its course. So no medication was necessary. The office staff was kind and very helpful. Ample Free parking.

Clueless and inexperienced doctors. They will lie on their medical reviews and make a mark on your record. Do not trust them for a minute. I wouldn't recommend or try bother using any of their services. Completely pointless heath care service.

I have been coming here for many years and it is hands-down the nicest, cleanest and most organized Kaiser Urgent Care, ever! All staff, from doctors to clerical, to cleaning staff, are extra friendly.

If you are looking for OB care, do not go to this location. The scheduling system is uncoordinated. You get scheduled without being notified. I've been scheduled multiple times on work days after I have asked to avoid those days. When I call to reschedule (I've done this about 5 times with each call over 20 min long) I get a "we are all booked up". They have cancelled multiple OB visits with my actual OB and I've gotten pushed around with multiple providers that have no clue about my history nor do they provide any education on prenatal or OB care. I've even been sent to other locations which are far drive times. Wait times are long and you get a 5 min visit if that. I will be 40 weeks pregnant and the only appointment I have with my actual OB who I last saw early on in pregnancy may be switched to a phone appointment per a message I just received. 40 weeks pregnant and a phone appointment?! Of course their strike starts on my due date. It has been 40 weeks of hell dealing with this healthcare system. There is lack of communication, no continuity of care, and you are just another number. Oh also don't go to Kaiser Fontana for OB care either. The scheduling system is horrendous there also and their midwife Stephanie Anne Meyer, CNM almost killed me there and didn't even show up after my labor to see if I'm ok. Kaiser you really need to relook at your scheduling department. We are humans not sheep!

Do you enjoy waiting in long lines just to check in? Do you long for the feeling of sitting in a chair waiting an eternity for your name to be called? Then this Kaiser is for you! If you really don't want to talk to a person you can try your hand at the "express" check in which is really just an exercise in patience. The best part was watching people try to use the express check in only to give up and get back in line after wasting a few minutes. Check in process is comical.

The service pharmacy at kaiser is horrible. The lines are long . There is only one person checking in the orders. The pick up time ranges between 30 to 45 minutes. The mail order is not any better. It took over 3 weeks to get an order. For as much as we pay for Kaiser, their service needs to improve.

Another TERRIBLE experience with the absolute WORST medical provider in North America! Our daughter somehow gets in to see an ENT without an appt on a Friday because she has a sore throat that is getting much worse very quickly. The doctor performs a strep throat test, it's negative, but she won't write a prescription because she wants to see if her condition worsened first. As you could imagine, her condition worsened on Friday and Saturday so we headed over to UrgentMed in Pasadena on Sunday where we were more than happy to pay cash out of our pocket to get some competent medical help. The doctor at UrgentMed immediately prescribed the antibiotics needed in less than 30 minutes. Even better, UrgentMed NOW takes Kaiser so we were covered so don't go to Kaiser for any reason at all. They just don't know what they are doing - it's just a factory of tests, delays, referrals, canceled appts, etc. If you are applying to multiple jobs and you narrow it down to the best two choices and one of them offers Kaiser for their medical coverage, then TAKE THE OTHER JOB! Life is WAY too short to be stuck with Kaiser.

I love this place, so confortable and they have a lot of doctors to choose from. I have a Doctor Timothy, he all ways care about my health and if I need any refers, he those and follow up when is need. Also I went to others department and the personal is so friendly. I have Kaiser Permanente for over 30 years. And to be happy is just to know how to use the services. If you need any care, ask to a doctor, if you don't like the doctor, call customer service and they will change for other one. Also parking if free, so is a big plus. No mención the parking at kaiser Sunset, the price is ridiculous high, don't understand how a person with low income can pay up to $16.00 for parking. Other than that, love Kaiser.

The wait time is always minimum 2 hours to be even called in. Once in a room, they have you waiting for another 30 minutes and doctor is only with you for 10 minutes I dont know why they have you wait so damn long

This is going to be a very long and thorough review with photos. Most people here are so nice and try to help. My 1 star review is strictly for Roberto Sotelo Jr., LVN. Kaiser should have some standard for hiring and a protocol in place to make sure that whomever they hire have the required knowledge and skill set for that position and are able to maintain it. I strongly believe that Kaiser needs to re-evaluate Roberto to assess if he is appropriate for this job and provide him the appropriate training so he does not do this to another person. I came in for an annual tb skin test for work. Unfortunately Roberto was the only nurse there when I came in to get it read at the 48 hour mark. When I pulled up my sleeve to show him my arm, he immediately said I was definitely positive, he had no doubt I am positive. I also have a background in healthcare, so I tried to explain to him some pinkness alone isn't a positive tb test, there needs to be an induration (a bump). Mines was flat, no rash, no bubbling, no firmness, does not feel like an orange peel. It was only pink. When he took me to sit down, he only quickly and barely felt my tb skin test spot ONCE. Then he said my tb spot test was 30mm before even measuring it. He then pulled out a ruler but when he placed the ruler on my arm, I could see that it wasn't 30mm. On top of that he was trying to measure the pink area, which is what you are NOT suppose to do for tb test. So even though it was not 30mm, he still wrote 30mm in my chart. I also tried to tell him that I had a tb blood test done not even a year ago, it was negative. Is he so sure that I am positive this time? I really don't think I have tb. He kept insisting I do and ordered me to do chest x-ray. It was so upsetting how much he did not listen to me at all or what I was trying to say. He scared me into thinking for a second that I had tb, even though I was so sure I did not and knew what a positive tb test looked like. When I got home, I was able to think clearly. I pulled out a measuring tape and even when I measured the whole pink spot, it was not 30mm. Honestly it was at most 20mm of a pink circle but there is still no induration. And since I knew it did not look like a positive test at all and I was still within the 48-72 hour time frame. I decided to get second opinions and to get his mistake corrected. Because if that was left in my chart, then I would never be able to do a simple tb skin test and I would always have to do either a chest x-ray or the quantiferon gold which is 4 test tubes of blood every time. So the next morning, I called multiple Kaiser numbers to try to see who can help me. I tried to go back to Pasadena to see if I could get another nurse to look at it and correct the mistake since I was still in the 48-72 hour time frame. Their wait was going to be long so they sent me to another location. At this other location, an LVN and a nurse practitioner both could not feel anything and said it was a negative with 0mm induration. Because of his mistake and unwillingness to hear me out. He wasted so much of my time. I had to make many, many phone calls and take time out of my work. On top of that, he's ordering unnecessary lab test for me which is a waste of money and resources. As a healthcare provider, you should know that your patient is a huge source of information and that is why you should hear them out. You can get a lot of subjective information, past medical history, and more from the patient. That is why you should take what they say into consideration. I can understand people make mistakes. But 30mm and 0mm is a huge difference. And the reason I am writing this review is because Roberto was not willing to hear me out at all. If he was just a tiny bit open to what I was trying to say, this whole situation may have and could have been prevented. To Kaiser, please give Roberto the appropriate training for the job. And to anyone that ends up with Roberto as your nurse, if he is brushing you off or you doubt what he is saying. Get a second opinion.
