We have been with Central Coast Propane for over 20 years and have always had excellent service. We recently had a problem concerning low flow of propane into our home and about an hour after calling Central Coast to report it John showed up(incredibly fast) found the problem and fixed it within minutes. Amazing service and John is very professional and friendly! Highly recommend this company.

Terrible service called them when my tank was at 20% it still took them a long time to come back and fill my tank was at 5% just so they can get more money in their pocket and charge you more especially when I'm on the automatic refill when they come out they're supposed to check the tank apparently they don't very unhappy with their service

Central coast propane is literally the worst place in the county to do propane business with. You call them for a fill up and they will treat you like dirt and make you wait a week or two in the middle of winter. The person I talked to was incredibly rude pretty much told me off. Go with delta or literally anyone else and be better off.

How can you not get an answer regarding the time-line for delivery. We wait for over a week for delivery, every time. The idea of customer service is non-existent, who ever answers the phone is clueless.Also, despite what the Central Coast website says, they are no longer a local based company, they are in fact owned by Superior Plus Corporation out of Toronto Canada.

There is an employee named Cliff Maxwell he is a loose cannon outright the rudest person I have ever encountered my whole entire life proceeded to get physical with me even though I was trying to help this guy is downright the dirtiest nastiest employee I have ever had the pleasure of meeting if this company wishes to succeed they should really think about their other employees this guy is down right the worst person I have ever met in my entire life I wish I could give negative Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cliff Maxwell I will pray for you sir

Getting rid of this company! Every single time we called they are so extremely rude. When we call to request Fills and we ask when the estimated delivery will be they tell you they can't give us that information because they don't have the route details. They go on to tell me that if I would like to pay an emergency fee and pay the extra $200 to get an estimated date and time then they can do that. We have given them so many chances and every time we call they are just as rude. Will never recommend this company!

Decided to switch to central Coast Propane after Amerigas left us without gas 3 winters in a row. They had us back up and running within a week. Would have been quicker but I had to make my previous tank accessible for them. They also detected a leak that Amerigas had left unattended, fixed it almost immediately. Their customer service is amazing and their service team is knowledgeable and quick to help and resolve any issues. Extremely happy I switched to Central Coast Propane.

I have been a customer for a few years, since the former owner of my home used them. The last 2 years the customer service has been dismal. Now, 2 days before Christmas, when we are expecting temps in the 20s, and after paying almost $800 in advance to fill out tank, I keep getting promises of a tank fill, then the date changes. Kristin told me Wednesday, no show. Called emergency line last night, Cliff (who's much nicer) promised me today / Thursday for sure & didn't know why no one came Wed. This am Kristin calls me to say now it'll be tomorrow - the Friday before Xmas - laughs at me and told me I should've called earlier. I've been in Texas more than home dealing with sick parents, but I called the minute I got back into town and got no response. Called again - zip. Messages with their service yield no response. I finally get Kristin on phone first thing Monday and have been repeatedly *laughed* at by her. Today she laughed & said ''merry Christmas' and HUNG UP on me. I'm so upset - we are not used to this propane gag, this is HORRIBLE. I've had enough upset this year without having to be in tears wondering if I need to leave my home over the holidays so we don't freeze to death. We also run a business and would be OUT Of business if we acted in this manner.UPDATE: we got new service - somehow a brand new co was able to crane out the old one, put a new one in, then a second truck came to fill us - all on Dec 23 as an urgent matter. When the tech unhooked the old one, he confirmed it was LEAKING. We had suspected this and requested it be checked & were told it 'definitely wasn't leaking'. Very disheartening that a company would conduct themselves in such a manner.

Spoke to Scott about the project and gave him a rundown of everything that I needed from his company. Scott has yet to send me a quote for the materials and equipment and the installation that we’ve talked about over a week ago.The girl that answers the phone is sweet the first time. After that, she knows that her coworkers aren’t doing their job and gets defensive and rude. She shouldn’t be answering the phone.At this point, even if they had the best price, I would look elsewhere for propane service.

I'm so happy with the service. They answered quickly. And were able to get me gas on the exact same day! Thankfully since we had no gas since Amerigas were suppose to be there after two weeks and a phone call still no show up I knew I had to get a new service. Glad I have central coast propane supper friendly and got to me very quick.
