“My now wife (Char) and hosted a camping weekend after our wedding ceremony at Venture Retreat Center. The space was perfect for what we were looking for. It's rustic and a bit rough around the edges, but it has all the creature comforts you would need in a glamping getaway (power, heated showers, a HOT TUB). Janelle was very easy to work with. Venture got hit pretty hard by a mud slide earlier in the year and Janelle was working hard to make sure that we had a good experience and had everything we needed.We catered one of our meals through Loma Mar (and loved it).Venture is a beautiful space, surrounded by a ton of beauty. We hosted a field trip to the beach with a geology talk/tide pool viewing, a crochet circle, karaoke. It was just a lovely space that helped us facilitate community.Janelle had set up a number of bell tents for our guests, which were super clean, and spacious. The yurt provided the perfect heated, powered activity room for our guests when it got cold. The large tent with bed + fridge, coffee, made for the perfect honeymoon suite.We are looking forward to their renovations and returning in the years to come.”

“Our wedding would not have been the wonderful, perfect, and flawless event it was without Joe. We loved the facilities OVY offered and they were very well maintained. From the bathrooms, to the trails, Redwood ceremony site, lawn for Yoga, to the main hall, everything was in great condition. Joe was very attentive and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. He had a wonderful attitude to work with; his even keel nature helped on a big stressful day like our wedding. We are deeply appreciative to Joe and OVY space for cultivating and curating our perfect wedding day.

“Long Branch Saloon and Farms is a venue that transports you somewhere else…They maintain an old west town on their property. They are masters at cultivating fun. Whether it’s a corporate event teambuilding, wedding or birthday party, they have activities, food, mini golf and all sorts of old wet style fun for every age and every ability.

I was there for a wedding, a small corporate event and a massive event and the venue transformed for each into a unique experience designed by Long Branch for that customer.

They cultivated competition between teams in chili cookoffs, served ice cream to kiddos at a family event, and somehow convinced coworkers to try line dancing together (which is amazingly fun if you can get over the feeling of embarrassment)!
