Metro Hotel & Cafe is a lovely, quirky place with a great vibe and great character. It offers a wonderful overall experience with a European flare, providing an ambiance that feels as close as one can get in the US to a boutique hotel in France. The decor and ambiance are great and period-specific, with common areas filled with lovingly selected artifacts that create an immersive experience. The accommodations are cute, cozy, and clean, with extremely comfortable beds. Some rooms feature unique touches like a child-size clawfoot tub, and feedback notes the bathroom areas could use attention. The in-house cafe is amazing, serving delicious crepes with fresh fruit and Nutella, fresh coffee, and other breakfast options for a fee. The staff are friendly, gracious, and provide excellent customer service. Its location is a major highlight, within walking distance to town and events, with close proximity to downtown Petaluma. The property itself offers bocce ball courts, lovely sitting areas, and bike rentals. Guests describe it as a perfect, cozy spot and a do-it-yourself type of adventure, highly recommending it to family and friends. Many state it is their new favorite place and they will definitely return.
