“If you’re looking for plants and shrubs in containers to fill in a garden, this is a great place. Nearly everything in 1 gallon containers and larger and lusher compared to others at same price point.
You do have to look with some intent for native varieties, but I’m happy to report that there are many to choose from.
For anyone with mobility needs, they do a good job of having ramped routes, but do know that it’s on a tiered hill, not flat land.”
“It's a standard-sized storefront, not a warehouse or anything like that, which is what it seems to be from some of Baker Creek's YouTube videos. That said, it is nice to come to an actual store with knowledgeable staff and get to see the seed packets in person and leave the day you pay for the seed packets with them in hand. If you're local it's a worth a visit, but I wouldn't recommend flying out to see it or anything. They do have shelves of seeds which was exciting, some merch, and some live plants, books, and gardening tools. I left having spent more than anticipated, but I know it'll be worth it!”
“Funny business title but packed in this small little shop that Eugene runs is indeed an amazing collection of roses, oddities & amazing things. We've found an excellent variety of David Austin English roses that are simply too difficult to find elsewhere. We've learned about tools (e.g. rose pruner from Burgon & Ball, dropped the winter pruning time down to one day) that have leveled up our rose and gardening game. In addition, plenty of soil, fertilizer, and garden accessories to choose from and our only regret is not discovering this place sooner.”
