“Staff are helpful. They don't always have what's in the ad that's why they're getting a 4 star. Prices on produce are usually lower than others. Today they had the nee doh chick eggs which will make great easter basket treats for the kids. Reasonable prices on seasonal attire. The bathing suit has interior mesh and love the corset back.”

This location has a similar layout to my home store in Cerritos, with most/all items available. Yet, it seems more sterile & bland, which could be just in my head. Like all Aldi stores, there never seems to be enough cashiers, as checkout lines accumulate customers with accompanying wait times. Here's hoping self checkout lines are implemented by Aldi.
I came in for a snack, and I purchased my snack. Aldi, the parent company of Trader Joe's, has great prices & easy to navigate stores. I much prefer shopping here, than someplace else, such as Albertson's or Vons. I'd visit again, if and when the opportunity presents itself.”

“I'm on my way to George's produce right now to pick up some cabbage and also to get some jalapenos this place is wonderful for low price deals they had Oreo cookies chocolate dip a box of 12 for $1.... yeah they may be a little out of date by like a month, but they're just as good and crispy as ever! “I’ve been to the bakery at least 3 time by now, and while I haven’t tried everything they offer. The few items I have tried were EXTREMELY tasty. My favorite so far is the Oreo cinnamon roll for $4.50, but other notable items are definitely their cakes. Not only that but staff are super friendly, one of the times I visited a staff member and I had a friendly conversation which brightened my day. Some staff don’t speak a ton of English but I didn’t have any problems when purchasing any baked goods.”

“I'm visiting from the Bay area and I've always been curious of what an Aldi's was like. I guess my first impression was that it was less of a Trader Joe's and more like a Grocery Outlet Bargain Market but cleaner and more spacious.
I no longer feel like we're missing out in the bay after this experience.”

“I work next door to the nursery and I had a plant emergency lol. I had accidently knocked over my co-worker plant pot and completely broke it. Lucky for me all I had to do was walk across the street to the nursey and had Randy help me out and he was able to sell me a new pot and replant my co-workers plant! And I couldn't be so happy and he was a such a chill guy and was so nice and patience with my situation. I will go back if I have any dilemmas and need any plants or plant pots in the future.”
“really had a great first time here and got everything i needed. I had trouble finding doubanjiang that i needed for a recipe. I had it written on my phone. I asked 2 employees for help. they both immediately brushed me off about “no english” before even looking at what i was after. I spent a lot of time looking for it independently. Later an older white woman asked one of the same employees for help and he decided to help her. It put a bad taste in my mouth but the store selection is great”

“I have been taking my elderly parents to the Alhambra Ranch 99 Market even years before the Pandemic. Workers are very friendly and helpful. Grocery selection abundant and I stock. Seafood, meats, fruits and vegetables are fresh. Bakery items hot and tasty. Also, there are 3 in store specialty food shops to buy prepared food dishes. Very satisfied and highly recommend！”
“Went to Aldi's to get a corned beef 4 saint Patrick's Day. They had lots of them so I bought a small one for my son and I it was a very good price. But of course I had to get a card because I loaded up on all kinds of other things that were great deals. I can always find something there I need”
“16pc chicken great buy at $14.99. It looks dry, but it's not. It's tender and juicy. I also bought chicken wings. The price was fair. The wings were tasty and meaty. They weren't messy like other wings. They're deep fried. Carlos took my preorder of chicken and did a great job. They were low on wings and he fried me a new batch of 2 pounds. I definitely will be ordering more chicken from them.”

“I really enjoy shopping at ALDI in Downey. It’s one of those places where you go in for a few things and end up finding a bunch of stuff you didn’t even expect. They’ve got a great mix of meats, snacks, household items, and little treats—you can honestly get most of what you need in one trip.
The prices are a big win. You definitely pay less here compared to a lot of other stores, which makes a huge difference.
My only small complaint is that I wish there were more options for fresh vegetables and fruits. The selection can feel a bit limited sometimes. But honestly, everything else makes up for it.
Overall, it’s a reliable, affordable place to shop with good parking and a solid variety of products. I keep coming back for a reason.”

Once you know the products and the store layout, it's awesome. The quality of the goods is on point, and when you get to the registers, you walk away happy with what you paid. I've gone in and calculated my cart, rounded up, and walked out with the cart being cheaper than what the calculator told me it should have been. “My go to grocery store and i love that they close late because sometimes i have an emergency for something i have to make early in the morning so that helps a lot. The only thing is the strawberries and grapes are never in good shape but sometimes they’re pretty good, wish it was always that way. Other than that i love it.”
