“This is so much more than a gas station. I came here to buy motion sickness pills for my kid for the drive through the mountains back to the IE and we walked into a Mecca of snacks and booze. The snacks were so much cheaper than your usual pit stop place on the road. Jerky prices were still the norm (high) but the little trail mixes and nuts were a bargain, so we bought several bags. Then I started looking at all the booze and decided to do a little Xmas shopping lol. The person working the counter was fantastic. He answered my questions and pulled bottles down that I wanted to see. I was lucky no one else was in there at the time. It was an unexpected pleasure to shop here not only for the variety of goods but the friendly service, too.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
