“My son's '97 Toyota 4Runner 2.7 liter engine started to blow water from the tail pipe. The engine was losing over a half gallon of radiator fluid each hour we drove it. After diagnosing the problem, we found it was a blown head gasket. I was dreading the expense of replacing the head gasket and possible additional problems. Everywhere I read this would cost about $2000 or more. Then I remembered reading about Thermalweld and the head gasket repair options they offered. “I arrived in Pismo Beach at 4:30pm on a Friday with my truck making a grinding sound. Being from out of town I was hoping to find a mechanic that could squeeze me in on Saturday to get the issue diagnosed and maybe even fixed. By chance I called Pismo Beach Automotive and spoke with Anthony Terraboa. He said if I could get the truck to him in an hour or so he would look at it and see what the issue was. I got the truck to him as quickly as I could. 30 minutes after I dropped the truck off Anthony called me and said the issue was a wheel bearing and gave me a fair estimate for replacing the bearing. He also said he could have it replaced in 90 minutes if I was willing to wait that long. I oked the work and 90 minutes later he showed me the grinding bearing and sent me on my way to the RV park in my once again quiet truck. The front window was pretty dirty, as I was thinking to clean the windshield, a friendly young man in his work uniform said that he was glad to clean my windshield. I was so surprised, I hadn't seen windshields cleaned since I was 10 years old. As he finished mine, he greeted another customer and began to clean their windshield. As I looked around I could see that the business was very busy with repair business also. We come up often so I know where I'm stopping for gas from now on.
