About Electrify America Charging Station
Electrify America Charging Station features four DC fast chargers located at the northeast corner of Pismo Beach Shopping Plaza, easily accessible from California Highway 101. The chargers generally work well, especially when set up with the Electrify America app for payment, as some chargers do not accept credit cards directly. While some chargers may not reach their maximum capacity, they still provide fast charging, and the location is very convenient with nearby shopping, restaurants, and a chocolate factory. The station can experience lines, especially on weekends or busy mornings, due to high demand and limited working chargers. There is a nearby restroom at the visitor's center, about two blocks away, and the entire area is wheelchair accessible. Visitors can enjoy shopping or dining while waiting for their vehicle to charge, making it a practical stop for electric vehicle users.

Charger works fine *except* you need the Electrify America app set up with your payment information ahead of time. The charger (or at least charger 4) won't take credit cards. Worked great through the app, though.

Stopped by for a charge around 7:45am on a Thursday. Zero wait, all the stalls were seemingly running--as easy as it gets! Solid breakfast spot across the street while you wait, Huckleberry's 👍🏻
