“Overall, this place is fantastic. It looks small from the outside, but it is packed on the inside. A very kind hostess saw us exploring the rose garden on a slow day and gave us a mini-tour of the flowers and led us into the replica of the East Room and told us a bunch of American history trivia and gave us recommendations for where to visit next. She was lovely.”
“I took my 4 year old to our first class here today, and Lisa was so amazing with the kids, and the kids have so much fun! She is knowledgeable in all the important areas to cater to the best of kids' development and learning. We had a fun exercise class today, and my son is excited to go back, and so am I. We felt welcomed and could tell she gives her best and is patient with the kids, which is what makes a good teacher great! ? If you are thinking of taking your kids in, do it!”
“We are visiting California for the summer and taking advantage of this amazing weather by doing a ton of outdoor stuff. Sadly we tried this little hike out way too late in the day. We didn't arrive until after four and they close the parking lot at 5 so we did a 15 minute walk and got a sneak peek at what we can look forward to in a few days when we go back. The parking lot is so nice to have and we noticed there are several different paths you can take. We chose the stream path but, again, only walked maybe 10 minutes before we turned around. We saw tons of squirrels and birds and we even saw a snake. Definitely recommend for family or anyone who wants to go somewhere outside and relax and enjoy nature.”

“I hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party here. Including friends and parents, we had a group of 40 people. The staff did an amazing job of keeping the kids entertained, and for the final party room, they helped decorate using the supplies we brought. Even if we hadn’t brought any decorations, the basic setup was nice enough that it would’ve been fine! What touched me the most was that throughout the entire time the kids were playing, the staff member was constantly taking photos, and at the end, they made a video compilation of those photos. My daughter watches that video every day. I’m so grateful for the beautiful memories and how they captured them so well. All the moms who were invited said they want to host their next parties here too. It was fantastic!”

“I had the most gorgeous wedding at The Hacienda. This really is a hidden gem! I was so frustrated early into wedding planning because venues were never upfront about their pricing. The coordinators at the hacienda broke everything down very transparently on our first visit. You really don’t need a wedding planner if you are getting married here, the venue takes care of almost everything. The food was also increíble. Everyone was coming up to us surprised that wedding food could actually be that good! I highly recommend getting married here. I hope one of my friends decides to use them so I can come back for another wedding and get more of the mini cheese enchiladas. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. The venue is also gorgeous, you really don’t need to worry about decor or excessive florals.”

I have nothing negative at all to say about Friendly Hills Country Club. My experience has been amazing even from reaching out to inquire. TAYLOR is awesome! So sweet, kind, and helpful! I had a vision of how I was going to combine 2 birthdays into one and Taylor was very accommodating answering my million questions.
The price was reasonable and the food was spectacular! Everyone kept saying how good the chicken and veggies were. Not your typical bland chicken wedding food. So delicious!
I removed the dance floor to accommodate the children's playground and it worked perfect! I was able to use the restaurant chairs (since they look nicer than the regular chairs that are provided). They worked around my late guest (fed them even when so many were late). The staff is very nice as well! Every time I stopped by they were really nice (guy who sets up the rooms for events, waitresses, set up manager) they even offered to charge my computer in his office so that it would be fully charged and ready for when I wanted to play a slideshow on the projector.

“Joining The Garden Grove Elks was just a great idea. We've met a lot of nice people to enjoy company with & volunteer for different events. We do a lot for Veterans & childhood illnesses, among other charities for around the city. The food is very good & we have a lot of dinner & dancing events. There are also many areas inside as well as the outside park, that are rented out for private parties, wedding receptions, social events, as well as funerals & celebrations of life. Everything you need is right here. Just come in & ask for a tour.”

“Shout out to all the staff at Mon Cheri! I have been here many times as a guest and even had my wedding here! Every time I am here I am never disappointed! Food is always top notch! (Honey walnut shrimp and the Lobster noodles are my favorite! They even had a fried scallop dish which was delicious as well!). As someone who is booking this venue, the staff really work with you to ensure you have a great wedding or event. There are about 3 meetings to with them to get all the details right! The food and bar packages are priced very well compared to other venues. Definitely did not regret the open bar option, bartenders were great! What really stands out for me is not only their excellent service and how great they work with you, but they are really up front and there aren't any hidden fees. Overall, I highly recommend this venue for your event!”

Any event. Sooo soo special and they go. Above and beyond to make sure that everyone is listen to and what they envision is what they get. From the food to. The bar to the. Service to the parking lot everything is. Carefully taken care of the food. Omg. The candy table. Wow. They even take. Some pictures of u event. And. The pictures they take. Are. Soo sooo nice and they capture moments that are truly priceless and to the soul it’s my second event. Here with them. And the upgrades they have done to. The place. Its. A must must must see to believe. I will attach some photos but i love this place they made my daughters. Sweet 16 magical they really do care and take the time to do everything nice and they treat Ther staff. With respect and they do take care of everything u can possibly want or think of. “Had my daughter’s Sweet 16 celebration there. It was absolutely beautiful. The venue was exactly what we needed. I received many compliments, everyone loved it. The patio made it that much better, especially with the gazebo.Our guests had a wonderful time , both adults and kids(and there were a lot of teenage kids !) Arlene and Linda were very helpful with the process of the rental . Arlene was very accommodating, as there were many last minute details that I had not originally accounted for . I highly recommend this hall , you will not be disappointed.”
