My wife and I recently placed a $20,000 order for deck rail and synthetic deck material. We selected the products that we wanted and talked to a salesman called Dale Park. He assured us that the rail was always in stock and the decking could be obtained within three days. We gave the info to our Contractor and he went in to place the order. He also was told by Dale that the railing was always in stock and the decking can be obtained within three days. This was not true!!! He could only get half of the decking and the rail was out of stock. He told the Contractor that it would now take two weeks. After a few weeks the Contractor had to lay his crew off and leave the job. Dale then told me it would be another 10 days. Then he told my Contractor it would yet another 10 days. Non of the information was accurate. He seemed to just make this stuff up! I then decided to take Diamond Pacific out of the equation. I left a message with the Manufacturer, stating that this antiquated lumber store made them look bad. I actually got a call from their Rep at midday on a Sunday. She told me the truth. My order had not been manufactured but she had enough in a Sacramento warehouse to get the job done. So, my Contractor was great and the Manufacturer were great but Dale at Diamond Pacific just tells lies. There is nothing worse than being lied to!!!

I called and requested a qoute, waited 2 days before checking back in. I was told that the person didn't want to qoute the material because she didn't like the manufacturer. Horrible customer service. I work for a large Construction company and I'd rather go down the hill now to find my material.

DO NOT do business with Diamond Pacific in Placerville!!!! They are by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company, completely lied to us over and over, took $20K and then did not deliver the product, still have not and they say they don't know when they will, yet initially they said product is always available, always in stock, three days to deliver. Yeah right! It has been over a month and we still don't have what we paid for. So aggravated!!!! Any advice, anyone know the owners, know a lawyer!!!????

Lousy company to do business with because their cashier, although I asked if the items were returnable, neglected to inform me there was a restocking fee. And guess what.........the item was returned and because the tranaction was completed on their end, but still not showing up on my credit card, there was no way the restocking fee could be credited back to me. Sound fishy??????????? You bet!!!!!!!!!

The workers at the front desk are great but now they have new drivers we own a construction company and have been ordering from them for years the new drivers however are not very professional and now we have to sign a waiver to not sue them if they damage the property? What is this? Been sued a few times im guessing!

Great service! Inside sales ppl are polite and professional. The inside is big and had a lot of variety of fasteners and hardware and plenty of tools. Very well Managed lumber yard!

It's much better for loading lumber at diamond pacific than home depot. They sell a selection of anchor bolts and Simpson brackets too.
