“Came across Eden Vale Inn when looking for a place to stay for a rafting trip with All-Outdoors on the American River. It’s such a cute inn!

We checked in after 6pm, so check in instructions were texted to us. Easy to follow. Was easy to find. We stopped at Wally’s Pizza for dinner in Cameron Park based off their restaurant suggestions on their website and sent via text check in instructions. Great suggestion!

The next mornings breakfast is texted the night before, offering some options like juice preference. And it’s delivered around 9am the next morning. Since we had to be at rafting at 9 our first morning at the Inn, they delivered us fruit, scones, and juice early at 8:15am which was really nice. Breakfast was delicious, both mornings. And super fresh.

We stayed in the Cypress room. Was as pictured online. Room was clean. The patio area is nice. We explored the grounds a bit our last morning and saw many places to sit around. We enjoyed some time up at the pond in the morning.

The staff - I assume owners - were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay here and would return!”

“This venue exceeded my expectations for my wedding. Truly a blessing working with Sara and her team. She truly shows nothing but professionalism and wants it to be your special day. This place is awesome and if I could do that whole day over again I would!”

“Oh my goodness, I just love Fausel Ranch! As a photographer, it’s a dream location — there’s so much variety with all the beautiful backdrops, you can create so many different looks all in one spot. And Deanne, the owner, is absolutely wonderful — she always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Highly recommend!”

“I had my wedding at the Davies Family Inn at Shadow Ridge Ranch and it was absolutely amazing! The place itself is gorgeous without any decoration. Linda was so great and easy to reach if we had any questions or concerns, and was very hands on during the reception. She was extremely helpful. The bartender Beka was so sweet and did an amazing job. Everyone absolutely loved her! The cabins were very clean and so cozy. Having everything all in one place for the wedding was so much less stress and Shadow Ridge Ranch was the best place to do it. I can’t thank them enough for making our day so beautiful, special and fun. The reception was a BLAST and we danced the night away. The way that the property is set up was perfect! It is a weekend that my husband and I will remember forever. Thank you all again SO much!!”

“We had our daughter wedding here last Wednesday Oct 2024.
I was highly disappointed as we walked on wet grass and sat on muddy chairs, my dress along with several others had mud on them, the next complaint I have is the food we paid for the Buffett and had to ask numerous times for to go plates I am shocked we were able to take our deserts home but nothing else. I’m wanting partial payment back for the food because there was a lot left over and I read that large venues like this is suppose to provide the to go plates. Well everytime someone asked for one it was an inconvenience, we paid for wine that was never was used but couldn’t take that home as well because no cap. So I don’t get it it’s ok to take our deserts home but the food no ? They rather you give away the food instead of it being thrown away is what I read on the California food law.
I didn’t pay for everyone else to eat off my dime. So if someone from this venue wants to reach out to me they can.
Other then those complaints the venue was nice but very expensive if your planning on having a wedding here.”

“Great wine, views, and live music at this hidden gem. Come around a couple of times and uncork while you get know the wonderful staff.

As a foodie first and foremost, I have to give a huge shoutout to Chef Mike! His amazing ability to create delicious dishes is only matched by his friendly demeanor. Chef Mike has accommodated my vegetarian family members on many occasions for member events and wowed them each and every time with what he whips up. Even if you’re not into wine like my grandmother, his skill in flavor will keep you coming back.”

“When my husband passed away unexpectedly it was really difficult to find a place to have his celebration that wasn't super expensive. Not only are their rates good they also have a full bar with great bartenders but a full kitchen. Proceeds go to supporting our local vets.”

“I attended the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy performance at the Placerville Shakespeare Club on Friday, June 6, 2025. I thought the venue was the perfect spot for it. It was a wonderful old building and the performance was amazing and entertaining. I would definitely attend an event again at this venue.”

“One of the best locations overlooking the 49er gold trail. Outstanding pond and pool combination, that includes a waterfall and a swim up bar for two. Very friendly owners who were working to ready the dining area outside for the summer season.”

“This morning my dog and I were here, as we are most day and we noticed a couple of guys. They were suspect looking. I watched them for a minute cause they were at my garden. I saw Tristian also watching. He called for someone else to come with him to check on these guys. He arrived within seconds. Also arriving quickly was a sheriff I think. We left. I knew my garden would be safe. I just want to Thank Tristian and Eric for their quick response. I never feel unsafe walking here. There are workers all the time and they keep a watchful eye. I also wanted to acknowledge the ladies that clean the restrooms. They are friendly and do an amazing job. I don't think I have ever seen the restrooms dirty. This is a wonderful place to have in this area to walk with or without a dog. Its very safe and very clean. Placerville does lack in parks so this is a gem. Thank you everyone”
