“I absolutely LOVE this place! They have always delivered within 30 minutes as advertised, and they call if there's any issues. It costs more than the grocery store, but less than Whole Foods, so I'm happy to pay for delivery when I'm chillaxin and don't want to get dressed and leave the house. ***Bonus points for days like today when my phone wasn't working properly and the delivery guy texted me so I could go downstairs and meet him INSTEAD of him just leaving. Highly recommend!”

“When going to any Trader Joe's, I look at the parking. It was tricky. It looked big enough but was full. The layout inside made for tight passage ways in the aisles. I found what I needed, but I didn't linger to look at the new products to let others get by.”

“Adorable deli and market next to the beach with great sandos, as well as a vast selection of Italian foods and treats. I got the Turkey Deluxe which was quite good. The deluxe option comes with lettuce and tomato, which is pretty standard in my book. I love the option to have your sandwich heated, and that you can modify and add items like avo, bacon, olives, and many other goodies. The regular size was more than enough for lunch. The sandwich was a bit heavy on the mayo and the bread was just a bit dry. The turkey itself was great, but I found the cheddar cheese selection overpowering, would definitely only have Swiss or provolone next time. Service was great, sandwich was up in about 5 minutes after ordering. Metered parking was really easy, and the outdoor eating area by the beach was perfect! Definitely a classic spot!”

“Sometimes the staff can be really weird about ID. My wife didn't have her ID and the guy refused to serve me. Then a guy came in with his 6 year old son and got served.. doesn't make sense to me. Good selection of beers though, and staff are happy to help.”

“Great neighborhood wine shop with sandwiches during lunchtime. Highly recommend if you need some helping picking out that special holiday bottle. Store could up its friendliness game especially if they want more sales. Parking is public parking lot right across street or on the side streets near Larchmont which is 2 hour parking.”

“Easy parking, shopping, and courteous staff. The store is clean, never too crowded and even a great place to sit at the bar and have dinner - salads, sandwiches, sushi, etc.”

“Always delicious. Their lunch deals are spot on too. Not many 5 start establishments offer such quality at such an affordable price. This is why I always choose jinos.”

“Stopped here to get Italian sodas, sparkling water, cheese, baguette and some jams before a picnic on a boat! The staff was helpful and the cheese that was recommended was delicious!! The only thing I didn’t love was being asked to tip at checkout for just picking up cheese, as it was already on the pricier end”

“This is a neighborhood gem. The staff is friendly, the food is very good, portions are generous. We started off with the fried calamari. The breading was light and it was nicely seasoned. The dipping sauce was flavorful and garlicky. For dinner, I had the Cioppino. It was more saucy than soupy, but I found it very tasty with plenty of seafood. It was very filling and warming on a cold evening. My son had the Penne Alla Genovese. A picky eater, he loved it and that's saying a lot. My wife and I are always looking for new "go-to" places to go for a nice meal, and this is the newest addition to our list.”

“Specialty grocers are my achilles--I will never not pop my head in and have a mooch around. I challenge anyone to walk into The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills and not buy something. Gage was the lovely cheesemonger who assisted me at the counter. When it came to be my turn I simply asked "what are you most excited about in the shop right now." He then went and collected four cheeses and talked me through each one--where it's from, what makes it unique, the ingredients, etc. This way when I was tasting each cheese--yes, he gave me samples of all of them--I could pick up on more of the nuances than if I had just grabbed them off the shelf. After chatting with Gage I ended up taking home four cheese, three of which I've never heard of. I could not recommend this approach more when heading into the shop. Relinquish control and let the experts do their thing! They can also help you with accoutrements to pair with your cheeses and meats. These are the kinds of businesses we need to champion and keep alive. I'm so excited for my next visit to The Cheese Store.”

“I didn’t expect natural wine shop in LA..! I just thought it will be a just usual wine shop with little natural wine corner but you will be surprised to see great wine list here! Literally became my fav place in LA lol”

“Very nice wine and bites with reasonable prices. Slight case of gen-whatever indifference from behind the bar here but no biggie. Typical LA. Maybe that’s why it was so quiet here on a Friday night. Some people don’t get the hospitality aspect of bar/restaurants. We really enjoyed our visit here and will definitely come back.”

“The people here are always very friendly! I got the Mustang sandwich and it was delicious. Came with pickles and a small cookie. Just what I needed. Excited to explore the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!”

“Awesome store with probably the best selection of liquor around. Hundreds of tequilas, vodkas, gins, whiskeys, etc. including somewhat rare ones. This is the only store I know of in LA with multiple types of Giffard liqueurs. Wine selection a little smaller but still great. Only trick is being able to find this place in the back corner of an industrial warehouse/distributor complex.”

“Hi-Lo has perhaps the most impressive selection of rare craft beers in all of Los Angeles. Some companies I've been able to find here include: Maine Brewing Co., Toppling Goliath, Alchemist, Anchorage, Cigar City, Jester King, Tree House, and more. They're willing to import beer from anywhere in the country. And they even have a request log in store where customers can write down specific brews that Hi-Lo will have shipped to the store. When you walk into the store, this list will be directly on your right, by the first beverage fridge. Make sure to check it out, and request some great brews that we all can enjoy! If you are a craft beer/microbrewery fan, you must visit Hi-Lo!”

“Blue Bird Liquor, nestled in the heart of Hawthorne, California, is no ordinary liquor store. It's a place that has witnessed numerous lottery winners, and I can't help but hope to be the next lucky one. The ongoing improvements and spacious renovations inside the store make it a welcoming space for all.During my recent visit, I noticed a substantial queue for the Powerball lottery, but that didn't deter from the overall positive experience. The friendly cashiers and excellent customer service left me impressed. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this location to anyone.”

“Fantastic, unique selection of wines and spirits. I really love that their prices are actually reasonable; lots of bottles in the $20 range. It’s great to be able to try new and interesting wines & spirits without breaking the bank. :) Looking forward to working through their very cool amaro collection as well.Lastly, their Friday tastings are also excellent- we’ll certainly be back! :)”

“Simply the best little gourmet market in Hollywood! I just love the selection of pantry items and pastries! They have a great selection of meats & cheeses & crackers. I ordered a charcuterie board for a small get together and it was a work of art! I couldn’t believe how much food was on it. I shopped around and there’s was the best hands down! It was so pretty we almost didn’t want to eat it… almost! It was the perfect amount for our party. Thank you so much Oaks. I wasn’t even aware that they did these until I went into the store and spoke with one of their staff, Robert. He was so accommodating and friendly. They were able to make the platter the same day. I couldn’t have been more pleased! I love this place!Dietary restrictions: I was so surprised to see so many gluten free crackers and vegetarian options. Also so many yummy looking vegan options for pastries.Parking: Easy parking”
