Michaels is a very large store with everything you might need to explore creativity and for DIY craft projects. It covers a large range of categories, including popular art supplies, fabric, canvases, yarn, knitting and crochet supplies, frames, floral items, scrapbook materials, beads, jewelry kits, Cricut and craft machines, and much more. It is a one-stop shop for party supplies, crafts, gifts, and decor for holidays and special moments. The store only has self-checkout available, which some find irksome, though the self-checkouts are noted as being extremely nice. The main downside is that prices are verging on insanity, leading many to only purchase items needed immediately. Experiences with staff vary, described as bordering on snooty to extremely helpful, kind, patient, accommodating, and welcoming. Many adore the frequent sales. The store is also known for kids events, which are held in the front of the store as there is no private room. Customers report being generally super happy after visiting, though often buying more than they need.
Has a good selection of items. The prices are a bit more than I'd like to spend overall but they do have good discounts sometimes. The staff could be friendlier at this particular location.

Love this place! Wayyyy better than hobby lobby. The staff are helpful and friendly, nice selection of yarn, and they have a little bit of everything else. My go to spot since Joannes closed.
