“Went on the hunt to two sentimental pieces fixed up. I had a hell of a time finding a silversmith but a local jeweler recommended this place as they only did platinum and gold rings. The place is unassuming and kind of cluttered at first sight but there are literal hidden gems everywhere. The store owner Scott knows his stuff! He's eccentric for sure but a brilliant craftsman and has a great passion for what he does. Once you get him talking, you understand how invested he is in his craft. Doesn't have conventional customer service skills but does have genuine joy when customers are happy with his work. And the price was reasonable. $30 for upsizing my ring and $20 for my other project. (Not posting as it is a gift). I left a very happy customer and will be back for a few of his custom pieces. If you are a thrifter, silver wearer or just love thing-a-mabobs, this place is for you!”

“"My Friends and I" is a cute and organized antique store with holiday-oriented goods as well as stationery, little trinkets, and other smaller items. I liked how they had a mixture of new as well as used items.”

“My brother and I came in randomly on a coffee run and came across Mantiques. 2 49ers jackets caught my brothers eyes. Coming back 2 more times, he finally decided on bringing these 2 jackets home. These guys have a great treasure box of everything you can think of. They also have a great welcoming set of door open to anyone passing by. Don’t forget to get a free toy at the door when you leave- “ONE PER KID. BIG KIDS OK TOO” ?”

“The American Trading Post has one of the most tidiest and organized setups that I have seen when going through antique stores. Everything is displayed in a way that isn't heavy on the eye, which makes this place stand out to me. Most of the time, when I'm at an antique store I always feel like I need to take my time in order to see everything. And even when I take my time, it feels like my eyes missed something. That I need to go back and relook at everything. However, this place takes that stress away from me and I'm able to peacefully look through all they have to offer. The service is also great. Never have I felt unwelcomed or uncomfortable in the years I have shopped here. They've always been kind and polite when I requested to see something behind their glass cases or answer my questions about an item. Very pleasant people. Besides jewelry, they offer a lot of antique furniture as well as a lovely array of mugs. If you're looking to collect some cute cups, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. They also have a section in the back where they offer clearance items. I've been visiting this place since 2017 and it always takes me by surprise how much stock can change within a week. Like most of the antique stores at Niles, you never know what you'll find. It's both a mystery and a blast. They also sell some unique and adorable pins that make great gifts for a friend. Recently I came here with my partner and he purchased a Harley Davidson pin for $12. For the size of the pin, it felt like a great deal. I love to collect pins myself and most of the time I collect pins from small creators. Usually these pins are priced from $6 to even $20 depending on the size of the pin. And I felt like this Harley Davidson pin was a fair price for it's size. I was also pleased to find a locket for only $10. It's become one of my favorite jewelry pieces. I'm planning to come back next time in search of a Mother's Day gift for my mom.”

“I have been here twice and both times the owner behind the counter has been so helpful. My ~finance~ and I came here to pick out my engagement ring, we told the owner’s daughter our budget and she helped us pick out the perfect ring. Stellar service and great selection!”

“This is one of two places in Niles that is true antique. Most of the other stores are thift shops peppered with some antiques. I was very surprised for a town sighting itself as an antique mecca that the shops had so much commercial merchandise, newer items etc. I suppose survival I suppose. I do not recommend going here for antiques. Petaluma is far better.”
