“Convenience/liquor store in an old strip mall. Nothing special about it, other than it's interesting history. On their signage, the word "Market" is set in what looks like a football shape, complete with laces. After doing some research, I discovered that this store was originally called "McElhenny Markets", and was owned by NFL player Hugh McElhenny, who played for the San Francisco 49ers from 1952-1960. The ownership has changed, but the football logo remains, all these years later. Just a little Pleasanton history/trivia for you! I've picked up a soda, snack or six pack here on occasion. Decent selection and service.”

“Absolutely fabulous facility! I've only been in twice and already impressed with their knowledge and level of service! Tonight I went in looking for a corkscrew as I've newly begun going wine-tasting on weekends. Previously I was assisted in selecting a gift of whiskey for someone special. Both times I was assisted by lovely gentleman who led me to my choices! I didn't catch the previous gentleman in the whiskey aisle around the holidays, but tonight Frank who I believe is a manager or lead(gave leader quality when observing him working the lines) helped me pick out a corkscrew that wasn't even top budget! He could easily have shown me the fancier models, but steered me towards the one he swears waiters live by(and I'd read something similar online.) he also recommended a few wines which sounded amazing once I finish the ones I have at home! Store is neat and tidy and I love the expertise when one isn't entirely sure what one is looking for. Highly highly recommend and will be back for wine tastings and events!!!”

“Great customer service and is very safe during Covid-19! He gives you free hand sanitizer when you come and leave his store. He always very friendly and is very well know in this neighborhood. Has all types of alcohol and cigarettes!”

“What a wonderful place! I went to an event here (a revue of Chateauneuf du Pape)- and it was such an outstanding evening. I enjoyed every minute of it. I know very little about French wines so I've increased my knowledge a ton just by going to this one event! And I loved the wines! We have traveled in Spain, Portugal and Italy, and are more familiar with their wines and I wasn't sure I would like French wines- but I do! Not only were they delicious, but they were reasonably priced. Before the tasting I shopped a bit in the store- there are some wonderful treats in the store, as well as a kick ass selection of ciders- which I am going to buy for my husband's xmas present, and a roomful of great looking hard liquor, including some gins I have not seen before. I am going to make sure to stop by often and check this place out. The people here are passionate about wine (as am I) so it's a beautiful place to be. I can't wait to go back! Also, just let me say I've never met such a helpful host. He actually wrote me to ask if the person who signed up right after me was supposed to be at my table for a tasting- and she was, since it was my friend. I didn't realize there would be assigned seating for the tastings -which is fabulous! I LOVE knowing I have a seat already and there's no game of musical chairs to look forward to. The tastings are lovingly set up- spit bucket, water, bread plate (there is bread included) and you can also order a cheeseboard- which will be there waiting for you. I recommend the cheese board highly! I can't remember the last time I tasted 16 wines in one evening- it's been a while, but it was so much fun!”

“Raley's is one of my favorites! They have some brands that the other Grocery stores don't have. They also have some higher quality, harder to find items, like specialty soda in the cooler. ?”

“Stopped here the other day to pick up some goodie's. I ordered ahead so it was already packed up and waiting 4 me. I decided to take a peak around the store. I liked that everything was well organized . They have a great selection of buzzballz & other liquor. The employees were friendly and helpful!”

“Great little liquor store. They often have the unicorn bottles here. Like stagg, antique collection, pappy's, blantons. I stop by every now just to see what's new and am often surprised. Knowledgeable staff too.”

“Came here on an off chance to see if I can find something for my bar at home and was pleasantly impressed by the vast selection of bourbon and beer S well as wine. Ended up buying Blantons along with couple of bottles of Eagle Rare. Will definitely come again”
